No, because we won't age in Heaven; but we celebrate them down here because we DO age. :(

I am signing off for right now. Since I've been posting on the BB, my housework is like a juicy steak....rarely done!

I will pop back in later....enjoy.

I worked so hard doing errands yesterday that I'm taking the day off too. I'm going to play with grandchildren.

I have a funny that happened yesterday. A Jonathan story again. His older brother and sisters are going to church camp next week. They work for their dad. I asked Jonathan if he was going to take David's place.

He replied, I don't know how to do what David does.

I replied, That's just an excuse.

And Jon said, " I know grandma, but it works! [IMG]

(His dad could hear this conversation and was about to explode from laughter) I'll bet Jon does some work next week ;)

Hope you all have a great day. It is hot here. I think we are going to have to start watering which we could spread some of the rain around when we need it.

Oh my trip to the Dentist was just fine. Cleaning and that's all. I was so tired by the time I got there that I nearly went to sleep in the chair. [IMG] This girl does not talk as much as the one that cleaned my teeth for years. The other girl was American Indian and I loved to hear her stories about traditions. She went to Alaska, but I heard that she is back in Oklahoma. Maybe she will return to work for my dentist.

See you all later in the day.

Morning All! [IMG] Hi Sue! Hi Gina! And Everyone Else !

Hope everyone is having a blessed day! All is well here. Missing my oldest daughter like crazy. Youngest one and I are keeping busy. Storms have been popping up here everyday since last Friday. Had some real bad ones come through Monday evening. Several trees fell on houses and cars in town, and when you drive around there are trees down everywhere. My daughter and I were coming home from softball practice Tuesday and we live on a very curvy road. Well I came around the turn and had to slam on breaks because there was a tree down across the road. Good thing I was paying attention! Thank you Lord!

Our VBS is fast approaching, still working on learning the music. We are doing Kingdom Capers too, do the kids seem to enjoy it? I know how much they loved Amazon Outfitters last year. They really loved and were touched by the song "Healing One" last year.

Katie , loved your dolls. Don't you just love e-bay? I sell a lot on there too and it's so nice when you can see someone really interested in what you sell. Keep up the good work! [IMG]

Blackbird , so how do I get my hands on one of your preaching tapes? Would love to hear one!

Well guess I'll get back to what I was doing. Got to get that music and motions learned. You all have a great day! Will hopefully check in later. Till then I'll take a diet vanilla coke to go please. It's weird, I never drank diet pop before but since I've been on this diet I have to have one diet vanilla pop a day! CRAZY! Oh, and may I brag one moment? :D I can happily say that I have lost 45+ pounds and I am very close to my goal, just a few more. Thank you Lord for helping me and being with me each step of the way!

    God bless!

We don't age in heaven? That brings up a thought. People ask about babies in heaven. It makes sense to me that there is no age in heaven and you don't just "stop" at wherever you were when you died. Wouldn't it be odd to have a child who passed away in utero walking around heaven at 3 months gestation? LOL

    Good Morning!

Today is the third day of a new life decision that I have made. Gina gave me much, much to think about, and so after a time of prayer and consulting with my doctor, I am now on a permanent program not of dieting, but rather of "eating less and better, and exercising."

And so far, so good! Already, I am feeling really great, not so bloated anymore, and am not so sleepy since I have had two really good nights of sleep. This is brought on, I believe, by my new two mile walks in the evening. Stamina has never been a problem for me, so I am really enjoying the walks.

The only problem is the cravings! I am not about to go completely off chocolates, chips, and the like, but I do believe that I have to ween myself off of them for now so that I do not depend on them so much. Thankfully, lunch is almost upon me, so I can go get my sandwich at the nearby Subway. I am counting the minutes.

So here are the stats of where I start: Weight is 334, waist size is 52, shirt size is 20 on the neck. Blood pressure is 132 over 84. Everything else is fine. I will periodically give updates to everyone who wants to know. The main goal for me is to not get all pencil thin, but rather just get down to a better overall health.

Sue, thanks, lots of people buy just because of a good story. Some won't buy unless there is a story.

And sadly, Katie, some people select churches or denominations for the same reason. We have a lot of interest out here in the Mormon because of their "family" programs and the "story" that is so much cooler than just the old Bible. :(

Glad you're stickin' with dolls! [IMG]

That is GREAT Mozier! God bless you!

How's everyone today? I've got a killer sinus headache and finally broke down and took some suphedrine (generic Sudaphed) so hopefully it will break up soon.......

I'll have a Pepsi and some Reese's Pieces!

    Hi Everyone!

Gwyneth: It has been a very hectic day for me too! Sorry I wasn't here to fix your tea.
I love tent meetings...haven't been to one in years!

Mozier: 45# WOW! [IMG] I think I need YOUR diet instead of the one I'm on! Keep us posted on your progress.

Diane: I'm sorry you have one of those ugly headaches today. I hope you're feeling better tonight. :(

Katie: Sorry I missed you today. I will be popping in and out this evening though.

I am having three grandsons here from tomorrow (Friday) afternoon until after church Sunday. Two nine-year-olds and an eight-year-old. Pray for me! [IMG]

Great Mozier! Now it's time for ME to practice what I preach! LOL I did fine before, but I've totally gone insane the last few months and packed on the pounds! Stress, I'm tellin' ya!
Today was interesting. I have the extra kids until 5:30 next Friday. They go back to their dad, and their mom would be safe to deliver by then anyhow. It's gonna be hard to let them go!
:( I can't imagine how their mom deals with only getting visitation. :(
But...we've got a special day planned for their last day here, and I'm going to get a hold of the dad and encourage him to bring them out here on occasion, although he's an hour and a half away.

We went to the store today and I saw a decent 5' x 6' carpet and had to get it. So that meant either putting the nice little new carpet in the dining room where it would be down-played by the ucky old table, or switching the dining room and living room back to normal, so I switched them back for now and will undo it when we start doing school more seriously again this fall.
It does look good in here!
Plus I painted the dining room table and it just flows in that room now, where it didn't before. I did a spongey thing with cream and pink paint on it, and will add green on top of that so it will kinda have that flowery rustic old table out in the garden look, then I'll do ivy stencils across the walls and either move a painting that would go into there or if I get brave I'll just paint it on the wall. LOL
Ya know, this is what happens to people who don't do what they've always wanted to do! I wanted to do design, some type of graphic arts, architecture, ANYTHING like that from the time I was in school and after, apart from a brief decision to become a marine biologist. (although that would still be really cool).
Throw in time to do arhaeological digs on the side and ahhhhh...
But...I guess I HAVE fulfilled it in a way! You should SEE some of the stuff I find when I go on "digs" in the kids rooms, and graphic arts? My kids taught me a thing or two about just how creative one can be with only a crayon, a sticker book, lunch, and a blank white wall! [IMG]

Good night all! See you tomorrow.... [IMG]

It will be kind of hectic in our house. We are taking out to the train station one of our house guests. He'll return to Toronto, Canada. Then I will take out our Pastor and wife to the airport. They go to Trinidad for a 10-day missions trip. Then we will go to Glen Rock, PA., about 4.5 hour drive if there is no traffic. Covet your prayers for traveling mercies. See you when we get back.
