Here's the link, Sue! It's SO funny! I LOVE that show! Tonight at 10pm

Click here for MONK'S web page

Did you see the episode in Mexico? So funny and tonight looks EXTRA funny! Monk is going to ref a ball game and cleans home plate so much that the kids slip down when they run home!

    Hi All!

Got a call and the dentist is going to see me for the bad cavity at 3:30. Oh I Am So Nervous! I hate going to the dentist. Whisper a prayer that I won't shake right out of the chair! LOL

    Diane :(

CJ, thanks for the reminder! I had printed that out and put it on the computer desk to keep it in my heart and mind.....

Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Romans 8:15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."

Thank you again for reminding me.......

And you might belong to different ones than I do too. This is the most intense of where I go. The other places, if you so much as disagree with someone, even if you are polite about it....they shut the thread down. It's like "No, No, No, this is a fellowship forum, there is no disagreement allowed" I'm sure the people who are used to this place would find it very different than what they're used to. That and this place has a much older crowd for the most part than the others. But I like it, or I wouldn't be here.

    Well...nice talking to you...have fun.

It's almost bedtime...whoo-hoo! I'll probably be up late myself though. The one day I get to sleep in! Although I have been staying up late anyhow just because I wasn't tired.
Gonna go destress out of town after next week is over. There ain't room for more than one of me in this town, and I seem to be taking up for two of me. LOL
Nothing too interesting happened today. I went to the store and they were pretty much out of everything. It was weird. Had to go finish shopping elsewhere. Some lady came up to me outside and said "do you drive a gold van?" I said "no, do you drive a red car?" She looked at me like I was insane. I love messing with people!
I've had enough vegetables and fruit lately to explode a rabbit so tonight it's STEAK with mushrooms and onions and lima beans and strawberry banana smoothies.

PTL... Blackbird wasn't around this afternoon to scare me to death about the dentist!

CJ! THANK YOU AGAIN. I could feel the prayers!

    Love to all,
    Diane

Diane, you made it! :D I was going to be evil and post a sound clip of a dentists drill earlier but decided to be nice. (especially since I couldn't find it ;) ) Do you have to go back or is it all done now? Oh, and TRUST ME I'll pay for the steak in pain later! It just sounds soooo worth it to me now though. LOL

I have to go back. He said the cavity was VERY deep but he did NOT see the nerve. There was a small and thin dark line left and he put in a medication and then a medicated filling. I'll have it for 6 months to make sure the tooth isn't going to abscess. ALSO, I have another cavity in the exact tooth on the other side but it's not deep. They'll fill that one as soon as they can get me in. Getting old is for the birds!

My whole right side of my face and part of my neck is numb. My jaw is starting to really hurt tho so I took some Ibuprofen already. OUCH.

I know what you mean about the pain later! I'd just as soon not eat anything that doesn't just melt in my mouth. Too much pain and trouble!

Wouldn't it be funny if we all had keyboards that matched our accents? We'd probably never be able to communicate! LOL [IMG]

    Hi All!

Bath time for the three boys and then I will settle them down with a movie. Yippee! I made it through one day! :D

FYG: I will be praying. It's hard when you are trying to 'get' something and you can't understand why you're having so much trouble.

Dr. Bob: Sorry you're getting bored. I'm sure it's even worse with the bride gone. Good time to catch up on some reading. I know! You can make another poll... [IMG]

CJ: I have been off line since noon and I had 30 replys to the 'hot' topic I started this morning! It is one of the heated ones. :(

WS: It's always good to see you! Sorry I wasn't here to chat. I have only visited one other Christian site and it SCARED me! [IMG]

Diane: Ty for the 'Monk' link. I hope I can stay awake long enough to watch it tonight! I'm glad the dentist visit for today is over for you. Keyboards to fit our accents? Now, what kind would we get for Blackbird? [IMG]

Jim: I'm glad you got your keyboard back. Did you ever figure out what happened?

Katie: We just got a new Chinese Buffet in our town too! We haven't tried it out yet.

Gina: I want to come to YOUR house for supper tonight!!!! That sounds much better than what I'm having.

Gwyneth: You are getting as bad as me, popping in and out. Maybe next week will be a little less stressful. [IMG]

I will be on for a little while in between getting one boy out of the tub and another one in.

Glad you survived the day! And sounds like it's almost over for you! How long will the boys be there?

The post you started that thread with this morning was a good one. I think I'm the one who started it on its downhill slide when I put a word in quotes that apparently some thought shouldn't have been in quotes. :( I'm really sorry it got so heated. Live and learn, I guess. Was a great eye-opener for me, though...I consider it my "trial by fire"!!! [IMG]
