Well....not much left...least it's clean in here! Course BH would have prefered a few crumbs here & there. She even preened & primped herself to look extra nice for duty tonite!!
I'm off to bed I rekon,...have to be up early again to take Agee in, & then have to get Jerry to the bus station around 9:30. Be peaceful around here again.
    Have a Blessed Nite y'all!!

    Good morning all,

Thanks to everyone who joined in the frivolity yesterday! It was like a family reunion. Wait! It WAS a family reunion... :love2:

63º this morning with an expected high of 83º, but that humidity just won't go away! It's standing at 94% already with no rain in sight.

I'm gonna have a cup of preacher's coffee and a piece of Rob's apple cake for breakfast.

Have a blessed Lord's day and don't fall asleep in church!

Good Morning everyone! I'm a little late for the party, but for the 100th CH we should party for at least a week if not a month. Some of us have been here a long time and it has been great!

We are looking forward to a cooler day today and a wonderful Sunday!

    Have a great day!

    CONGRATULATIONS ON 100, Sue.

    Good Morning Everyone!

Today's going to be another quiet day, here.

Not much going on except Chris' latest migraine and a possible solution to the car problem that is slowly creeping up on us. A cheap solution! Can't complain about that. I love when the Lord provides the solution before it hits crisis mode. :love2:

I've got to spend some time this pm getting started on baby gifts, but I'll be around some today.

    See ya'll later!

Oh thanks for the cake and coffee, guys.

    Afternoon!
Well, got Jerry to the bus, got back home & BH is runnin wide open, acyually runnin in circles is more like it. Thats how she does when she's out & wound up! Then she'll flop on her side, claw at the air,(less my hand is available) & make the awfullest face ya ever seen! Thats how she says...Thats Right...I'm Bad!!
Agee called & has to pull a double, which means I get her at 2:30 & take her back fore 3:30.
If it wasn't for the dogs next door it'd be nice & peaceful. But they bark 12 hours a day sometimes...no joking. I've had to call the law at night before just so we could get to sleep.
Mabey it'll start raining again & the'll take them in.
Made it thru my first week of being a paperboy, & tomorrow I have to replace a brake line on my truck. Least I found out about it fore' bein out in the boonies & my brakes failing. Yur right MK...the Lord is good, even watchin over our poor ole vehicles!!

A Praise from Rob and Sean

    Hi Guys,
The Church had special prayer for Sean this morning because of his upcoming(still un-scheduled) surgery.

I brought Sean to the coffeehouse with me so he could say hi to his "cyber-aunts"(Aunt Bitsy-Aunt MK- and Aunt Sue)because Sean and I want to share a praise.:praise:

Sean does have some movement in his legs.:praying: He is going to be fitted with leg braces after he has had his surgery, and then he will be scheduled for Physical Therapy.

As if anybody needed proof that prayer works. This is certainly it.

Sean and I want to thank everybody who has held him, and the family, up in prayer for his various health problems.

    God is Good. :Fish:

Well, I didn't get back in here as much as I thought!

It's ended up being a busy day. The car thing didn't work out. About the only thing it had going for it was that it ran pretty good for a 15 year old truck. But, the body is pretty rough, someone (think teenager) who didn't know what they were doing installed some dorky lights and did something to the wiring under the dash (all the wires were hanging down) and Blue Book on it isn't near what they were asking. Since we'd be pretty much rebuilding the thing anyway, it would do the trick, but I don't think they want to come down a whole thousand dollars off their price. Oh well, there'll be others and we're not in a hurry.

Chris' headache up and disappeared after a drug induced nap, so he's happy again. It doesn't usually work that way for him. He's had a new pattern this summer. Migraine starts in the pm of day 1, day 2 is spent in bed, day 3 it begins to lighten and is usually gone by evening. This is quite a nice change from the ones that he woke up with on day 1 and lasted for a week or more before subsiding. We'll have to talk to doc about that tomorrow.

I left some cantaloupe, grapes, cherries and strawberries in the fridge for snacking. Watch out for the cherry pits!
