Ed, welcome to the world of the retarded! Oops! It only seems that way after a few months. I have been retired so long I qualify for dementia.

    Cheers,

Heh, Heh, my wife will get to pick mine......oh...wait a minute, that might not be a good thing!!
Pulled a dum-dum today. Didn't get all my papers fore I left & had to make a 40 mile round trip to resupply...hope that don't happen again! Didn't get thru till 6:30, then came home to a supper with NO meat!! Needles to say it's been a day.
Least I could take out some frustration on BH...she was more than willin to tangle! I guess Agee bein home all day helped her some. Don't know what she'll do tomorrow...course Jerry will probly follow his normal out of work routine & sleep all day. Least BH won't be bothered. I just feel sorry for him if I ever catch him messin with her.
Anyway, guess I better try to get caught up on some other stuff so I'll be back....sometime!

Hey Pappy, Good night Pappy! Chile' what do you do that gets you in bed at 6:30 in the evening?

Thankful, I'm sure Ed will still love you when the credit card bills come in! :D

Clean house, only two kids, survived the sparring clinic at karate even though I'm not mean enough (how do you guys know how/when to hit someone else), the head gasket repair on T's truck is only going to cost about half what we thought and there are no extra kids, company or chores that have to be done tomorrow! Pretty good day, huh? :) I'll take it!

Gotta go cook a bit of supper....

:( Sorry about your day Preacher.

Hey...things got better. Me & BH had some crackers & deviled ham. Well....BH had crackers anyway. Now I'm gonna have to vac in here tomorrow.
Agee's in bed & I just may have to go myself. BH put all her cotton in one corner of her cage, neat lookin little nest, got her a tunnel made thru it, then went in the middle of the cage got inside on of the t-shirts I put in & promptly went to sleep! I'll never figure a squirrels mind out!
Oh have to fix the deck too. I let Sam out for a minute while Agee was on the back deck. Told her to go see momma. She heads that way doin 90, Agee says..Sam, up here! Dog stops in her tracks jumps sorta sideways right thru a piece of railing, which is bout 5 feet off the ground, & lands at Agees feet! Dog looks at me with that Erkel look (did I do that?) & I just go in the house & give up. Least she didn't get hurt...dumb dog!!

    Good morning, everyone!

I hope you all have a blessed day!!

    menagerie......

I don't go to bed right at 6:30, but I prepare for bed, ha-ha! Isn't it a shame when you have time to prepare for bed? Tells ya you are too lazy.

I get up early, as you can see. I just have long days...short nights. I do get my 8 hours tho'...some people need more than that, but I'm fine.

I love waking up early....I get to witness the day the LORD has made before some. It's beautiful this early....

Cindi: If you like fried mushrooms, green tomatoes, pumpkin blossoms, or eggplant, you will love this recipe. It's cheap, easy, and makes about 2 dozen.

    MOCK MUSHROOMS

1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 egg
    1 sleeve of Saltine crackers

Mix soup (do not add milk or water) and egg together. Crumble crackers and add to soup and egg, mix well.

Make small patties and drop into hot oil for 1-2 minutes. Drain on paper towel and eat immediately (they taste better warm).

Pastor Bob and family should be arriving around noon today, so I'd best get some things done.

    Have a good day all!

    Good Morning Everyone!

Oh Sue! I just happen to have a deep fryer that doesn't see near enough use! I will be trying that recipe soon! Can they be reheated or is this one that must be eaten as soon as they are made?

Preacher, that sounds like something my dogs would try. Crazy things!

On tap for today: I have to stop procrastinating and get three baby gifts put together! It was two, now its three and I'm afraid if I don't get started before long the list will grow to four! I think I have all three planned out. I'm going to make an aqua bubble and a blanket (almost put together already) for the first boy, a lavender bubble with bonnet and booties for my new great niece (she might get a blanket too, depends on the time), and a blue bubble with matching cap for the second boy. I only have to have all three by the 6th. :D Good thing I work well under pressure!

    Hey Bitsy, where's breakfast? ;)

    Good Morning Everybody,
I brought in hot, homemade, pecan rolls, made the coffee, and the tea. Enjoy!

The trouble is that Bitsy spoils us. What are we going to do in two weeks when she goes back to school? We'll survive, but it won't be the same(thank God, virtual food has no cholesterol-that girl can cook!).

We found out yesterday that Sean will have the MRI on his brain next week, then the final determination will be made on the surgery to relieve the fluid on his brain. I brought him in with me so he could get his morning hugs, and pampering.

We're helping my son move into a new house(for him) this weekend. We had a chance to get his old house, which would have been great since we go to church in the town he lives in, but it would have meant uprooting the grandkids from school, and their friends. So we, regretfully, had to pass on the opportunity. My son lives 20 miles northwest of us.

I probably won't be in much the rest of the weekend, but I'll look in when I can.

    Wow! It's quiet around here.

Maybe I should let the four kids I have here with me loose in the Coffee House. They could certainly take care of the quiet! :D

Not to worry!! I'm here. Just got in. Agee & Jerry are watchin a movie in the LR. BH is takin a nap...& I'm takin a break fore I go start mowin. Only 2 weeks behind !! Well....it ain't knee high yet!!
Fixed the deck last nite...wasn't bad, just one 2x4. Brought Agee home from work at 2:30 & BH was actin all funny, I took her out & she just held on to my hand being all pitiful,...she only does that with Agee. I pampered her till I had to leave again to finish my route, but something is up. Not sick, more ,..nerves??? As much as I hate to do it I may have to move her while Jerry is here & put her in our bedroom. Least he don't , & better not be in there.
Hot today!!...wonder why?? Gonna be fun mowin,...but I CAN'T put it off any longer!!

If'n you're lucky it'll rain like it did here when I though about mowing my grass. :D

Critters don't like changes in their environment and they are territorial. In other words, Jerry might not have to do anything to bother her except be there. My mutt dog is like that. Slinks around and acts like he's skeered whenever anyone he doesn't like comes up(which includes my parents). Poor, poor pitiful little 50 pound dog!

Sue, that sounds good! If I didn't already have something in the oven, I just might go looking in the cabinet for some Cream of Mushroom soup!

I made it through the PET Scan just fine. I can get claustrophobic, but if I take my own music and use a Breathe Right Strip, I do OK.

Glad you made it through allright Gayla. You do deserve a treat you know. Go ahead and hunt out that can of soup. :)

Well everyone came to get there kids so how did I get left with 2 extras? Now there are 5 to run through the Coffee House. :D Nah, I fed them pizza and they are all giggling out in the LR. I just love the sound of happy children.

I was a mean mama again today. In a pre-emptive strike I told Cassie in no uncertain terms that she would NOT be getting her belly button pierced! This after the sisters of Chris' friend came in with theirs. I told them what I thought about piercings too, in front of their mother who was glad I was teaching her girls to be grateful for her. :D Her view was that at least piercings would grow up eventually and therefore were better than tattoos. Why is it parents think if they don't allow their kids to "have some freedom" they'll just sneak off and do what they want? Where do these kids who don't work get the money to do such things? I guess I'm just old fashioned. And my kids are terrified of me. ;) LOL! Cass asked why she would want a piercing in a spot no one was going to see? Good kid! I wonder how long it will last?

Pizza's here, husband's not. Poor thing. Our Pizza Hut always takes forever to deliver on a Friday night, so T told me to go ahead and order cause he was leaving in ten minutes. Sure enough I ordered and they said 45 minutes at the earliest. That would have given him plenty of time to get home. 15 minutes after I ordered they were calling for directions. 10 minutes after that the pizza was here. I hope the kids leave him some!

Who's got something sweet to eat tonight? My sweet tooth is killing me!

Anyone want a little almost-midnight snack? I have a marvelous coconut cream pie that I made this afternoon. And some decaf.

Sure is hot here! I primed and painted an old metal swing today. I had it repaired at a welding shop, then sanded and scraped away for a couple of hours. I primed 2 coats, and painted one coat. I'll finish it up tomorrow with another coat of paint and hang it up on the supports. What a nasty job in all this heat. I'll be glad to be done!!

Well I'm gonna turn in. See you all tomorrow. :sleeping_2:

    Good morning all,

Fresh homemade donuts rolled in cinnamon and sugar are on the counter. Eat them while they're warm...

No time to talk this morning. I'm off to the Farmer's Market (only open on Saturday and Wednesday mornings) to see if I can buy some garden tomatoes, corn on the cob, and some pumpkin blossoms.

    HAGD!
