The only "RULE" here is NO fussin' - NO fightin' - NO feudin'!

I will try to be here to serve you; but if not, feel free to help yourself.

First one in every morning puts the coffee and tea on, last one out at night turns the lights off...

We serve donuts, cinnamon toast (dry toast available upon request), crumpets, bagels, scones, croissants, brioche rolls, donuts, yogurt, salads, light lunches, popsicles, ice cream, homemade cookies, homemade cakes, homemade pies, and homemade jams.

We also serve coffee (with/without caffeine), hot chocolate, hot tea, iced tea, fresh squeezed lemonade and orange juice, cappuccino, Mountain Dew, DP, DDP, Coke, Pepsi, Diet Sierra Mist, milk, milk shakes, Kool-Aid, and Carb Options (we will also be serving homemade EggNog until after the holidays).

If you don't see your drink or food of choice...just ask, we will do our best to stock it for you!

Our aim is to please...come and sit a spell, enjoy the fellowship and come back often!

As Christians, we are ALL on common ground...

Morning all! Sue - I'll have to check out your recipe for Swedish meatballs - I'll do that later.

Joanna went back to school today and she's SO happy! So now Robby is doing his math and I'm taking a quick coffee break on the computer. I'm hoping to hear back from the orthopedist today because I want to get Nicole (14) in to see him. She hurt her foot on the retreat and I just want to be sure it's a basic sprain and that nothing is torn or broken. He had no appointments available but hopefully someone will cancel and we can get her in.

    Kids! Always breaking something! :D

Mine are about ready for school to start too, Ann. Tomorrow. It's starts tomorrow. How is it Joanna is the only one there? The "big" girls not starting back too?

    Good Morning Everyone!

Karen, I'll fight you for rights to Sue! I guess though we'll have to get in line behind Dale and Brent! Wonder what we'll have to do to get our chance?

Today will be spent finding my house under all the bags and boxes of Christmas stuff, games, projects and other assorted junk that has accumulated since the holidays began. To bad doing so is going to mean a couple of hours sorting out the garage! It's bad when you can't get to the attic stairs!

Ya'll have a good day, I gotta go get at it!

The girls started back to school yesterday - much to their chagrin. They were away on a youth retreat since last Thursday and got home pretty late Monday night so they were SHOT yesterday - and Nicole was on the crutches so she was not happy about having to crutch around school. Oh well!! LOL!!

Robby and I have been doing homeschool (1st grade) as much as we can since we got a bit behind so he's not really been 'off' for vacation. Oh well. We're trying to do 2 lessons of atleast one subject a day so we're slowly getting caught up. :D

    Good Afternoon Everybody,

Home at last! Doctor's Appointments, paying bills, grocery shopping. I'm still not sure that days like today aren't one of the plagues from the OT.

Thank You Sue, for posting your recipe for Swedish Meatballs. We are having them tonight, and I'm following your recipe down to a "T", including the Angel Hair Pasta. I'm serving them with Hot Crusty French Bread, Harvest Salad, and Lemon Bavarian Cream with Raspberry Sauce. I'll try to do your recipe justice. I promise.

Thanks to Ann and Donna for gently explaining what Swedish Meatballs are.

Not much else going on here. It's supposed to be in the 40's for the next week. No complaints here.

My Psychiatrist increased my BPD med some this morning. She says I'm doing fine, but felt some "fine-tuning" was in order. Equal parts of medication and fear of a relapse can sometimes work together for the desired outcome I've found. She told me that my cooking was the oddest therapy she could imagine, but could see how it can help me stay "centered" and improve my concentration and memory.

Time to put the finishing touches on dinner.

I'm going back to bed after Brent leaves for school.

Pneumonia? Been there done that. Went to the doctors last Thursday and after an hour of poking, prodding and an xray she announced that I had pneumonia. I actually missed two days of work! I'm just dragging.... We live in a three story house that seems to be twenty by the time I cough and wheeze my way upstairs.

I'll be praying for you, Sue.

    Good Morning Everyone!

First day back to school for us too. Some schools around here don't go back till Monday!!! Don't know how those mothers stand it. :D

Well, T has to be at work early so I gotta go!

Edited to ask: Sue, Padre, did ya'lls docs not recommend getting the pnuemonia vaccine?

    Ya'll gotta get better!

Oh my goodness! I was hoping that everyone would be well by now! I'll be praying for you Sue--you sure have had this for long enough to be really SICK of being sick.

My hubby loves Meatballs, so I'm gonna try your recipe for Swedish Meatballs. I'm sure he'll love 'em!

I finally got my new coffeemaker. (Starbucks recalled the old one and sent me a check for a new one). Well....after 3 weeks without a coffeemaker, I bought a new one yesterday, and I hate it. It goes back today, and I'll get another one. It has one of those thermal carafe thingys but it doesn't keep the coffee hot.

Gotta go--we're having a huge oak tree cut down that's starting to lean toward my neighbor's house. I'm afraid that if we have an ice storm, it will come down and fall on their house. I just hope they don't trample my new flower bed.

See ya'll later. Feel better, Sue and Padre!!

    Good Morning Everybody,

Praying for you right now Sue and Padre.:praying:

We had Sue's Swedish Meatballs last night. The G-kids went thru them like Grant thru Richmond (of course Papa went thru his share too:laugh: ).

After I get my chores done I've got to clean the carpets. We're thinking about redecorating, and we're looking at different ideas. I'd be happy with "contemporary redneck" but I'm sure my Wife wouldn't appreciate it.

I was stopped at a traffic light yesterday and the car ahead of me had a bumper sticker that read "Give Me That Old Time Religion" with witchcraft symbols on it.

Searching for a new church home is exciting. The good thing about being a pessimist is... the world is full of pleasant surprises.

    Scarey thought, FoG!

Sue, I am really slow this morning. I just figured out the windows remark. I'll gladly wash windows if you'll cook!!!! :D :love2:

Ya'll ever had one of those days when you didn't know what needed accomplishing first and worse, weren't terribly motivated to accomplish anything???

    On my list:

    sort laundry
    karate at noon
go buy a new iron, cause I've killed the old one

That is not going to take up my whole, kid free day. Other things I could do that need doing:

    finish Cassie's suit
clean out the used for laundry and clutter "cat" bathroom
clean out my closet cause it's been used for clutter cause the cat bath is full
clean out the upstairs linen closet, so half the clutter from the cat bath can be put away neatly
or I do have several books to read.

I don't feel like reading though, I have to much energy. Don't want to go to the store until after karate cause it would be a waste of gas. Can't work on the suit until I've sorted the laundry cause the laundry is taking up the space I need to set the pieces out on. By the time the laundry is sorted, I won't have time to set the pieces out.

Ya'll get the idea I'm having organization problems. They make a medication for this, but I'm not on it! :D

Oh well, this conversation has at least cleared up the starting point> laundry! Maybe the next step will be clear when I get this one done.

I've been watching the tree guys cut down my huge oak in the back yard. They have made enormous craters in my lawn--a couple are about 2 feet deep!! I hope they fix them. But better the lawn than my flower beds. lol

FoG--I had a scary girl behind me in line at the Pharmacy a few days ago. She was dressed all in black with black lipstick and nail polish. She had a large pentagram tatooed on her neck from her chin down to her chest, and from ear to ear. That was scary, too. Gave me the creeps, but I have been praying for her. Sad, isn't it?

MK--if you do the windows, Sue cooks, FoG cleans the carpets, I'll do the laundry! Then we'll be all done and can have some fun! lol

Gwen - I wish I lived near you - we could use that wood!!

Sue - I hope you can get some answers as to what's going on with you.

For us today, I went riding this morning (testing out a theory - is Whirl less nuts after I just about kill him the night before making him exercise without me on him and then I ride first thing in the morning - the theory tests out - he was so much better) and now we're doing school. I was on the phone with my friend who owns the horses and she had to get off the phone because one of the guys from the barn came to her house and I'm hoping it wasn't anything serious. I tried to call her back but there's no answer. I was there just a few hours ago and everything was fine but...... I think I'm going to run down as soon as the girls get home in an hour. I'm nervous that something has happened.

Other than that, we're all home tonight. :D I'm looking forward to that!

Ann, you would be welcome to tons of oak!! Our fireplace is gas, so we can't use it. We had the tree guys take it all away.

They are finally done, and my back yard looks like a war zone. It is full of huge craters. I have filled some of them, but ran out of dirt, so I'm off to WalMart to buy some. lol I really hate having to pay for DIRT!

LOL and it's definately easier than digging up the hard clay! Buying a bag of dirt is sooo much better than that!!

By the way, how do you like my little flower picture? I am learning a new computer skill! Wooo-hooo!

    Good Morning Everyone!

Today is Chris' birthday and is he ever excited! I'm not, cause in one short year I'll have TWO teenagers in my house. I'm not sure I can stand it. My babies are growing up too fast.

Since I'm the first one in, there are cinnamon rolls warming in the oven and the coffee and tea are ready.

    Ya'll have a good day!

I'm up at church right now and waiting for all of my images to back up to the server so I have 12 minutes to just hang out. LOL!! I've loaded SO many new graphics and images into this computer that it would kill me to lose it. We had the sanctuary computer crash last year and it was awful!! I'll never lose my stuff again! I can retype songs but I got my images from friends, the internet and media sites that I go to. I DID find some really cute graphics that have made me laugh, though. One was an announcement saying "Sign up for ice fishing and water baptism in the lobby". LOL! Quite cute. I also have to wait for our senior pastor to get back with his sermon notes so I can put them together in PowerPoint. Oh well!!

So, I hope everyone has a good day today! I'll 'see' you all later!

    Ann
