    Thanks, Rob and Su Wei!

    Good morning all,

It is another coolish day for this time of year and I'm not complaining...

We will watch fireworks after church tomorrow night.

I need to get caught up on the laundry today and run some errands.

We find out the results of Brent's tests Friday when we go see the neurologist. I also have my annual eye exam Friday and I'm praying the cataracts have not grown any.

My format is still messed up and I cannot figure out how to get it back to where it was!

I cannot use any of the things at the top (bold, underline, italics, link, picture, quotes, links, etc.) I also cannot edit or use any of the smilies in my posts. Grrrrrrrr!

My kittens have been messing with my keyboard. Could they have done something? I have changed none of my settings and it is really a pain doing without all of those things.

I posted in the Computer forum, but so far, no help. I also PM'd Andrew, but have not gotten a response.

If anyone can help me, I would sure appreciate it!

    HAGD!

    Good Morning Everybody,

It is 64 and partly sunny here, headed for a high of 80 today.

Sorry to hear about your Catastrophe Sue. Maybe Andrew can tell you how your kittens learned your sign-on name and password to the BB so they could mess up your format. Could it be that they're members of the BB too? Hmmmm that would explain some of the "catty" posts that you see from time-to-time.

Our little village has quite a 4th-of-July celebration, with a street dance, tractor pull, chicken BBQ, parade, etc.

I brought in pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, sausage gravy & biscuits, and hot biscuits with fruit jams and jellies. Enjoy.

We're getting packed for our trip. We leave Thursday for a week. We're just going to take our time going up the West side of Michigan to see all the lighthouses, then we'll continue down the East side ending at Detroit, then we plan to stop at a bavarian themed town named Frankenmuth, MI www.Frankenmuth.org that is world famous for it's chicken dinners, www.zehnders.com and Bronner's the Christmas store. The store covers many acres and is open 362 days a year. www.bronners.com.

Time to run into town and get some errands done.

I really enjoyed going to Bronner's and Zehnder's years ago.

Things stabilizing here. The waters crested earlier than they thought originally.

So much destruction over a wide region. MO, KS, and OK are hit.

    Good morning all,

It is another hot muggy day. We really need some rain.

Brent finds out the results of his tests at the Urologist this morning. I'm praying everything is normal.

I must wake him up and fix breakfast. Our appointment is in an hour.

    HAGD!

Sue - Praying that all goes well at the appointment!

It's a warm muggy day here - the hot will come this weekend. I'm heading off to church in a bit to work on the Sunday service but first have to call our small group to plan a weekend outing. We're going to be meeting on the boats (our small group has 7 couples and 5 boats! LOL) on Sunday afternoon - when it's 90 degrees and humid. It will be a great time to swim and keep cool on the water.

Well, have a great day all!

Morning all. It's a hot, humid day here in Middle Tennessee, but, still lovely! We had some rain the other day, but, we're still around 11" short for the year. I was truly surprised that the state let people use their fireworks this year. But, they did and it was wonderful! The colors were fantastic. Sort of made me feel like Francis Scott Keye (sp).

Dell has been giving out a lot of overtime assignmentswhich is okay. They are set to be delisted by the Nasdaq on July 16th if they don't get their papers in order. It's sort of a mess right now there. We're wondering if they're going to move or if they are thinking about closing one of the plants. Viv and I have been through this before with Warnaco, but it all turned out okay.

Well, hope y'all have a great weekend and keep your eyes looking up! :jesus:

    Good morning all,
I am so glad to have my internet back up. The flooding in my part of Oklahoma continues. Lake Texoma was within 6" of cresting at 10:00 last night. I haven't heard today whether it has crested or not yet. The rivers around here are still up although the lake is the major flood concern right now. It is a sunny 81 degrees here right now. The only day we don't have a chance of rain is Sunday. I wish I could send some to all who need it. We have had our share of the rain blessing lately! Dad's toe where he had the surgery is healing and the surgeon is letting him go two weeks without seeing him. He is still going to wound care twice a week. We had a nice fourth-both sisters and their families came over and we had our picnic in the house due to rain! We had two nights worth of fireworks though since both brother in laws had to work Thursday. I had better go, I need to see if I can get some yard work done without getting in mud up to my knees! The yard looks horrible! Have a blessed day!

A friend of mine was born on 6/6/66 - I'll never forget his birthday!

Happy Saturday everyone! Quiet here. DH is working at church (we've put on a new addition to the church and all of the work is being done by volunteers - 25,000 sq. feet worth!! Actually, the beginning was all hired labor and our missions pastor was the general contractor (he's got extensive construction background) but now it's stuff like ceiling tiles, subflooring, sheetrocking, painting, wallpaper, trim, hanging doors, etc. so that's all stuff we can do ourselves and save money. Today it's the deacon's day - they have a meeting this morning and then they're working into this afternoon. I think I'll take the kids to the pool after lunch - and I want to get some chores done this morning. It's going to be 88 today, 90 tomorrow and 95 on Monday so I figure the more I do today, the less I have to do in the heat. I hate the heat!! Bleck!!

    Good morning all,
It is 75 here with an expected high of 92. I agree Ann, I hate the heat! It looks like a beautiful day out. I am not seeing a cloud anywhere. I brought in biscuits and scrambled eggs with cheese, sorry the sausage is frozen and I am not thawing it this morning. I didn't get much sleep last night so a nap will be in order today. I don't know what is on the agenda today other than finding some last minute things for mom for Bible school in two weeks. Y'all have a blessed day!

    Good morning all,

It will be hot and muggy again here today, but should start cooling down some around Wednesday.

Brent is leaving for Triple ยง Christian Ranch in Rosebud, Arkansas, tomorrow at 5:30 a.m. He will be back sometime Friday evening. That is the church camp that Bro. John Bishop and "myDonna" started years ago when my kids were young. His son runs it now since Bro. John's illness, but he still preaches there. He is all packed, ready to go, and very excited!

It will be a vacation for me too. LOL Not really. I am determined to sew the new curtains for the sun porch and Wednesday, I will be going to the oncologist surgeon in Springfield. Shawna will be going with me as I'm not supposed to drive back home.

    Y'all have a great day!

It was hot here today but church was wonderfully air conditioned. After church, we came home, changed and went out to the boat with our small group and a few others. We had a wonderful day sitting, relaxing, talking and watching the kids playing in the water (it was too cold for us wusses). I got a little burned but not too bad (that I can tell) but it was well worth it. It was so fun!

So I'm off to shower (I feel so sticky!). Tomorrow I'll be taking my oldest driving then go horseback riding (possibly - tomorrow's heat index (what it feels like) is going to be 105-110 degrees so I may skip it), and an early dinner because my girls are involved in a camp at church and have to be there at 5:30.

    Good morning all,

Just popping in to say 'hi' and have a good day. I've got to feed Brent and get him out to the church so the bus can be packed with suitcases and sleeping bags and be ready to leave by 5:30.

I may stop back in later...or I may come back home and take a nap!

    Good morning all,

Thought I'd stop in and see what was going on. Seems like things have been pretty dead on the BB lately, I guess because of people like me who are no longer consistant or persistant posters like before. I miss it, but, it's just not the same as it used to be. Still, I like many of the posters here and have them on my prayer lists.

Well, y'all, have a wonderful day. :godisgood:

    Good morning,

It has cooled off some here, I may be able to turn the C/A off and open the windows!

I started cutting out and sewing curtains yesterday. I have 24 panels to make. I got 10 panels done and my sewing machine broke again! I just got it out of the shop two weeks ago and haven't used it until yesterday. Methinks it has given up the ghost... I hate to buy a new one because I don't use it that much. Not sure what I'm gonna do.

    Have a good day!

It was rather warm last night trying to sleep - have to take my pillow and set it on the porch these days - so it can dry out!

I kept my breathing machine on for a little over three hours last night - would be nice if I could keep it on all night!

Everyone - have a great day!
