    I will bid you all a good night. Must go back to work tomorrow after a two-week break...supposed to be 8º in the morning. Hope the wind isn't blowing...hubby has already scraped ice off the car twice and snow is starting now. :(

    Hi Ed,
    Hey, I have been talking with the Webmaster and I may be able to return to regular posting again. He assures me that he is returning the Board to the original picture policy. I can handle a small picture in a post, but not two, three and four at a time or the huge ones. He told me to let him know if I see any irrelevant pictures posted.

    It would be nice.

    We got no ice here - thankfully.

    We did get snow starting around noon. I travelled 88 miles today - transporting young people to church (We live less than a mile from church) - but it's worth it to have the kids in the Lord's house.

    It started snowing more this evening - my round trip - 44 miles took well over an hour - probably closer to 90 minutes.

    I too have the beginnings of neuropathy - mine is from diabetes - I was on my feet most of Thursday - Friday - Saturday - working on the house. I felt it more today in the feet than I think I have in some time.

    But it's good to be walking about - and I'm thankful that I am not as bad off as some others are.

    I'm sitting here watching OU lose to LSU!

    It seems that every time OU does something good, there is a penalty......

    It looks like they are playing just like they played Kansas State. Don't know what happened to them :(

    Oklahoma has player poorly, but the mark of a great team is to "pick up slack" somewhere and make a win out of it.

    Blocked punt for TD and interception for TD. Their offense is not good (like Kansas game) but the defense is playing well enough to win. I'm just gonna wait.

    Plus, I'm doing therapy and strapped into an anodyne so I CAN'T move if I wanted to!!

    Well, it got exciting there for a few minutes.

    I have never seen so many penalty flags.

    The nice thing is that LSU won their first championship in forty years. I know they are very excited and proud.

    And after such a weak showing by LSU (against a pathetic OU team) I think the #1 USC Trojans should be a unanimous pick.

    BCS has failed us royally this year . . and they say it will not change next year.

    Why tinker with failure? :mad:

    It is brrrr cold outside!

    This ruling should not affect the Coffee Shop because:

    1. This is a 'fun' thread.

    2. We don't have biblical discussions here.

    3. We have no debates here.

    4. The sigs we've been using fall within the BB logo size range (although no size is mentioned in the latest ruling).

    5. Our topics change so quickly, the distraction thing would not be a problem. :D

    This ruling is specific to the All Other Discussions. I shall report any abuse to the Webmaster as I was instructed. It was enacted so that I could post here. Others on the Board were NOT using the abuse. There is something called Christian considerations too.

    Oh. You mean it does not apply to any other forums but this one?

    Actually, it has been discussed many times. I cannot believe webmaster would cater to one individual when there are a cazillion other forums and threads where said individual may post. In webmaster's ruling...no specific forums were mentioned.

    I agree. Most of the posters in this forum enjoy the pictures and graphics immensely. Maybe the ones who don't enjoy them could have a little Christian consideration for us?

    BTW, my sigs are not violating the new ruling.

    I just think we need to be considerate of all people and their circumstances. If certain kinds of posts interfere with someones' ability to stay connected then I think it should be taken into account so that all may have the benefit of posting and fellowship here. To do anything that causes someone to have connection problems is, to my way of thinking a stumbling block and we all know what Jesus said about that.

    This is true Sheila. But anything smaller or the same size as the BB logo, and only one to a post, should not cause ANYONE any problems.

    People who do not like to debate should stay away from debate forums. People who do not like to fellowship should stay away from fellowship forums. People who do not like graphics should stay away from forums that use a lot of graphics.

    I believe that is why the Tea Room was started. There is nothing but text there. That is the way things should be handled.

    If you don't like a thread, start one of your own in another forum and make your own rules. [​IMG]

    Please let's have an end to this discussion. It goes agaisnt everything the Coffee House stands for and the reason it was created.
