Maybe you need to reboot? This is what I see when I look at your last post:

Morning all, All this exercise has Nick falling asleep earlier so I've gone to bed earlier and awoke at 6:10~ That's early for me! It's going to be mid 50's this afternoon. Looks like it's going to be pretty warm all week. Nick will enjoy playing outside in the MUD.

    What's everyone doing today?

    Diane

    Good Morning Diane!

    You ARE up early!

I am sitting here watching the News, hoping to see that my school is closed like every OTHER school in this town and the surrounding areas!

    Good Morning Sue and Diane,

I have just surfaced again. I have spent the morning either reading or sleeping. :D
The rain has stopped for a while. I think I will talk nicely to Rob and see if we can go out this afternoon.

Back in a bit, lunchtime here,

    Blessings

    Sheila

Actually, I was hoping to go to Bourton - on - the - Water. They have a large Beatrix Potter shop there. The one in Gloucester doesn't sell thimbles, (which I collect) and I was hoping they may still have some of the special edition centenery thimbles, cos I haven't got one. :(
There you go, totally and absolutely boring to you I expect. [IMG] But you did ask :D

    Blessings

Good Morning Dan and Good Mmorning AGAIN Sheila! :D

I have brushed all the snow off of my car and have it running to melt the ice.

I cannot believe 'my' school is open! Every school in Lincoln is closed except for the elementary school (which would be my corner)!!!

    Oh well.......I shall overcome!

Roads and sidewalks are ice-packed and very slick. If I fall down, I think I'll just stay there! [IMG]

See y'all when I get back in from the 'frozen tundra'! [IMG]

Moondg, Did you get the problem solved?

Maybe it is the color of the print that is not showing. Mine has posted, date and time and it is in red. Select the area where this is supposed to me by dragging and clicking and see if you can see it.

    Good Morning, every one!

It is 21 degrees here with ice on the cars that were left outside. Ed is thankful for his garage.

It's going to be a gorgeous day here in Georgia once the fog completely burns off. Jim's leaving for several days on the road with his new job. The man he was to travel with is very sick but Jim's been selling for longer than this guy has been alive. LOL

Nick is growing like a WEED. He's outgrown all his blue jeans. I'm thinking of taking his over to a resale shop and see if they have any size 12's there. Maybe I can swap out. Nick's all look brand new because of how quickly he's grown. All he has left is dress type pants! I have a friend who had hung on to her son's clothes and gave them to me a few years ago. Her son's in high school now!

We've had a garage everywhere we've lived except when we lived in my mother's vacation cabin while house hunting about 8 years ago. There was no room on the side of the mountain for a garage or even a carport. Of course, the sun didn't beat down on the car and the weather isn't THAT severe here. In Georgia, your garages have to have sprinkler systems (newer homes).

Off to finish some chores and help hubby pack for his trip. Have a lovely morning all!

    Sheila,

As a collecter of all sorts of things (and I took a look at that web site) - the bourton on the water would greatly interest me!

    Have a good time.

    Diane,

Quit bragging about your good weather - or next summer when it's 102ºF in the shade near you - I'll be bragging how nice it is in Western New York State!

    Sue,

Get some spikes and attach them to the bottom of your shoes - maybe then you won't slip and fall!

    Betty,

Glad to see you at the Coffee House - even though your husband has been avoiding us here. I have been over to the Tea Room and harrassing him there!

Dan - love to pick - pick - pick - and I'm good at it!

    There's a tea room????

Sue, Be thankful you're not up here in the chilly North. They don't cancel school for anything ... or so it seems. In all the years that I've been here, I've seen school cancelled once -- way back in '92 when we had a blizzard and the drifts were up to my waist.

Well, today the snow is only up to my knees, but at least it's not as cold out as it was last week, only -17C; that's +1F. Oooooh, now that doesn't sound so cold. (Ha! If I went out in shirt sleeves, I would f-f-f-r-r-r-e-e-e-z-z-z-e!!!!)

Good afternoon all - the winds have died down for a few hours and the rain has stopped for a time. Really good day at Youthreach today. As I mentioned before I am not permitted to witness to the kids, but they do know that I love them and they know that I am A "born again".

Trust you all are doing well today!

Boy Howdy to all. We are running late getting to the BB this morning (already finished my tea) but enjoyed catching up. Had three "tough" phone calls come in before 9 am, so portends a long day.

28F on the way to 40. Bright sunshine. No snow except I can see the mountain glistening white so they got another dusting overnight. Another big day at the clinic and then a dinner wedding at 6 pm and then a marriage counseling session (DIFFERENT couple) later in the evening.

Sure enjoy 3 weddings this week better than 3 funerals last week!

    Cherry5,

On "Other Religions/Doctrines - Jim1999 (from Canada) has a thread called :The Original Tea House." It is a chatty type of room - but no graphics! Some of the same people who requent the Coffee House also spend time sipping tea over there.

Dan - like the smell of coffee - but don't drink the stuff!

Oh Dan, I'm dreading it already! I HATE summer! Spring, Fall and Winter are fine. Our winters always have plenty of 'play outside' weather days but summer.... we hide inside and dread going even to the store!

    Diane,

You and Jim should establish a second home to go with the one you have now.

The second one should be in the southern hemisphere - so when it is summer in the northern hemisphere - you could be in the southern one - and enjoy two winters each year!

    Dan - now there's a novel idea!
