HI Gayla! I'm guessing a potato roastie might be a Baked Potato??

So how are you and Carl this fine evening? And those beautiful children? So glad to hear 'you've got hair'! My friend at church declares her hair grew back thicker! It's just gorgeous!

C.J. SNOW???? Wow! Hey, I'll answer your email in a while. I had a slew of them. Plus pm's. Nick has a history game he plays on my computer and when I got home from going over to work, he was quite involved.

Hope Sue is enjoying her prime rib! We had spaghetti. Cheap and filling!

    Ed,

How long will your 8" flakes last - all winter?

Usually when we get snow - some of it stays around till spring!

Dan - still above the Mason/Dixon line!

Will pray for you and the ministry there, old crow. We plan and plan, but it's GOD that sends the revival. Even so, Lord, even so!

Just got in from Glenrock, Wyoming, where I preached. Good time had by all. But about 30 miles into the country and down a road that I wasn't sure was a road! Just followed the direction the folks gave and ended up just fine!

Preach twice tomorrow, so signing off early tonight. Need to be rested (voice included) in mind and body to give two hour-long messages before noon!

And somebody please watch the dear ladies on the the doilies-r-us thread in Bible Theology. The Pharisees, Sadducees, Essenes, Hellenists, Zealots and Herodians are all picking up stones . . .

18 pages of some of the most ludicrous . . .

A wonderful good morning to all - special thought for this Lord's Day from Habakkuk 3v17-19:

Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.

A potato rosti is similar to a hash brown like you might get at McDonalds. Shredded potato with a crunchy potato coating.

I get bored looking at the headcovering threads, but have fun with the versions one!

    See you all later today.

Good morning everyone! My favorite Bible verse (and it should be the prayer of everyone who opens the Holy Scriptures to be read) is Psalm 119:18 [IMG]

Good Morning All! My favorite is: For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And the ransom he paid was not mere gold or silver. He paid for you with the precious lifeblood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. God chose him for this purpose long before the world began, but now in these final days, he was sent to the earth for all to see. And he did this for you.
    1 Peter 1:18-20 NKJV

We'll pray for a revival in your town Blackbird! Dr. Bob, keeping you in prayer and your son who is moving back, a quick sale of his home. Hope everyone has a wonderful Lord's Day!

Jim's cold kept him (and also me) up most of the night. My cold isn't horrible but what I thought was gone, isn't gone.

    Good Morning All;

I slept until 6:00 this morning! It feels like it is noon!

Wind chill is 8ºF and still have plenty of snow left. Our snow hangs around!

I am going to be optimistic this week and start my Spring housecleaning! I have to do something to work off the effects of eating a huge supper two nights in a row!

"This is a day that the Lord hath made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."

Sun is shining brightly, but the high for today is only supposed to be 21ºF...

Ug.. Don't talk about it! I climbed onto my scales today for the first time in a couple of weeks and had gained about 6 pounds! YIKES! All that sitting around at my little job and drinking Pepsi, eating snacks with no exercise. Guess I'd better join Sue in that Spring Cleaning or my jeans won't fit next week!

    Roger GREAT VERSE!
Habakkuk 3:17-19 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.

Thank you for that this morning!

Our sermon will be on 'Thy Will Be Done'. Dr. Barnett is going through the model prayer and how to pray. Excellent sermons! We're having a big Celebration Week with 3 or 4 band concerts, a special preacher, and lots of goings ons for different ages. Next Sunday is the 'Annie Moses Band' with special music in the two morning services and a full concert that night. We've had them twice before and they're just excellent. 'Casting Crowns' is in concert on Saturday night. 'Julalheirs' is Friday night.... a choir from another church another...

Should be an exciting week here too.

This is the day that the Lord has made! I will rejoice and be glad in it. Smile everyone. The joy of the Lord is my strength! I was glad when they said unto me... 'let us go to the house of the Lord'.

"Thy will be done"...how seldom do we REALLY mean that when we pray it? What a lesson, what a prayer, that requires FULL reliance on our gracious Lord.

Whoops! Wanted to thank all who prayed for our class last Sunday. Robyn will be with us beginning this week as a co-teacher. This is a real answer to prayer!

Sue said, "this is the day..." Well, it is indeed. Daughter #1 purchased a new MSXP, which she will install in my new computer sometime today. She already removed the MSW98 Second Edition last week. Since mid January I am logging in with my old clunker. I hope I will be getting back online with my 1.3 GHZ speedster sometime today. Have a blessed Lord's Day you all, and see you a little later! [IMG]

It was frightfully cold this morning, reaching the -35 mark, but it is the turning point, so the weather people are saying. I'll know better when the crocuses break ground....but first, we need to see some snow melt.

    Cheers to everyone,

    Jim

Barnabas, I have Windows XP and have never had the trouble I had with Windows 98. Praying this works my friend! We MISS you!

Wow, Jim1999, that is colder than I can even imagine!

Sue, Sue, Sue.... I see you've worn your eraser down all the way while I was out. Good job tho!

Roger, it was an amazing sermon. Dr. George said in June '03 he was preaching a week long lesson on prayer at a church near his home. The day he was to preach on God's will be done, their 2 year old granddaughter lay near death in Africa. Planes out had been canceled due to bombings... He lay prostrate all night in prayer and said he finally had to yield even the life of that child if it were the will of God. She's recovered just recently and the family has returned to Africa as missionaries and have another little girl due in 2 weeks. What timing God has!
