    Good Morning everyone!

I'm having a nice quiet morning for a change. It'll end about lunchtime though, as I have to take Bitsy to the doc to see if she has a bladdar infection. I'm enjoying it while I can! I may even make it ove to my sewing machine for a change.

Just making it to my pattern collection would be okay. I have a sweet little peach floral print here with a matching solid, that is staring at me, just daring me to make it up. I'd love to have enough of it to make Bitsy and her little best friend matching dresses.

It is so cute, the two of them look enough like each other to be sisters. When they are dressed alike you can't tell them apart till you get close to them. T's grandfather who has alzhiemer's used to believe they were both mine and they were twins. It did no good to tell him different when he could see that they looked so much alike.

I have to go check the weather. I had the idea that it was supposed to be rainy today, but it is sunny and beautiful today!

    Ya'll have a good day!

Sounds like you have your hands full, Diane. Take care of your "big kid."

Sure will, Debby. I think our menu for tonight is going to be changed to something bland. Jim laughingly said we out to just eat oatmeal and toast the rest of our lives. I told him I could at least CHEW that. With my TMJ my teeth have shifted. The back teeth are so high that nothing else comes even near each other! VERY difficult to chew!

Have a wonderful time Sue, Brent and Dale!

Nick's still over across the street playing with his friends. They go to school in another county and didn't have school today. Ashleigh is 1 year to the day older than Nick and J. (Warren) is almost 8 but TALL. The kids are the nicest children you'd ever meet. Their Dad is a college professor and Mom used to be with the Boy Scouts corporate office. She's not working right now. SUPER nice family but not in church. We've invited them but they're not sure they'd feel 'at home'. They're a black family and we've assured them they'd be welcome.

What a lovely day it has been!

The weather has been short sleeve beautiful and God has provided with many blessings!

First off Bitsy does not have a UTI, just a little irritation probably due to me changing her shampoo.

Second, T's new job is official today! His first day on the job will be March 14.

Third, my FIL had been called up for jury duty on a big murder case here and was excused because he has care of his father who has alzhiemer's. We would have had major care issues if they had not excused him. My MIL sets off the worst in the poor man, and I'm going to be busy with Bitsy's tonsilectomy. FIL has a sister but she is doing her two weeks duty now and will be due (and need) a break come Tuesday.

Supper tonight is chicken and dumplins if anyone would care to join us. They'll be ready in about an hour........

Had I known you were having chic and dumps, I wouldn't have eaten the mac and cheese and the Italian sausage.

Great news there Cindi (or is it Cyndi? I forgot and cringe everytime I use one or the other.. hoping...)

We have fish tonight with Texas toast and veggies. Tried to be 'bland' so as not to bother Jim's tummy. We'll have Katie's Ribs on Saturday instead.

Jim got me the Gaither Vocal Band DVD 'I Do Believe' for Valentine's. We'd gone out to eat last Friday since I keep kids so late in the evening during the week. He'd gotten me a different Gaither DVD for Christmas and I watch or listen to it all the time. Some nights we fall asleep with it on. [IMG]

Well, I am as full as a tick! We went to Bonanza for supper (steak house with hot and cold salad bar) and I had Prime Rib. All three of us are stuffed!

I had baked some valentine cookies today but, by the time we got home, we were all too full to care!

Time to hit the recliner and it will be an early night...

    Pleasant dreams all!

It doesn't really matter how you spell it, Diane, although I usually use two i's. My real name is Cynthia! [IMG] When I was a kid there were 4 other Cindy's in my class. We all came up with alternative spellings. Pity the poor teacher who had to figure out which Cindi, Cyndi, Cyndie, or Cindy belonged to which kid. Eventually we all choose the one we liked best and stuck with it.

Oreo the guinea pig was my Valentine, along with paying off some bills that had been hanging over our heads(the best present by far).

We combined our Valentine dinner and Bitsy's birthday dinner on Saturday and ate at Ryan's(buffet that serves steak and seafood on the weekend). Bitsy got to choose since she was the birthday girl.

Sue, I think I'm headed for my recliner too, but I won't be resting. I have two costumes to fix by tomorrow afternoon(I hope it's not tomorrow morning) so I'll need to take them apart tonight.

My son Kelly - did a sleep test on Sunday evening. He won't know all the results for a couple of weeks - but they did tell him that he stopped breathing several times during the night - and that he snores.

Jan tells me that I snore - she wears ear plugs to keep the noise out!

Time off to post - now that's a novel idea! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

My daughter had the exact same problem! When she was in kindergarten, there were 3 other little girls with the same sounding name. The teacher was thrilled to hear that we sometimes called her Becky Sue. So then there were Becky, Rebekah, Beka, and my Becky Sue - problem solved! Trouble was, the "Becky Sue" thing stuck all through elementary school. She put a stop to it in high school because, as it turned out, the name was already taken by another Becky Sue! She's been simply Becky or Rebecca ever since. The only time we hear the other name is when she runs into an old elementary school classmate or teacher.

Ha! This year, I have a Tyler H., Tyler B, Tylar with an "a".

Last year, I had four Brittanys. Brittany K., Brittany W., Brittany H., and Brittany S.

Whew! It can get confusing! But at least I didn't have anyone named "Apple" or "Phinneaus".

Although in the past at our school we have had a Snow, a Spring, a River, and a Prairie!

    Peace-
    S.O.

    Good morning all:

I think I slept too hard - woke up with a headache.

It is going to rain again all day today changing to snow flurries tonight with an inch of accumulation.

Bobby is leaving for Kansas this morning. I hope he has good driving weather.

Back to the school routine today after Brent having three days off. It is nice to have a routine...

    Cruising,

Sue-headache? It's all the carbs and salt you had last night.

Dan-I went to the sleep center. It's hard to relax and sleep with all the wires strapped to your head. The nurse (a guy bigger than me) came into to check my wires and dropped his roast beef samich on me.

I went to work and took a nap on my 15 min breaks and during lunch.

    Mornin', Ya'll!

Yesterday was really very nice here! Sunny and in the 70's! About 11am, I got a phone call. It started out "Happy Valentine's Day"! I returned the sentiment. Then I asked whom this person was looking for, and she said "My Mom and Dad". I said, "I think you've got the wrong number, ma'am", to which I received the reply, "No, Dad, this is Sandy!" I about fell over onto the floor. Sandy is the young lady I led to the Lord over the internet and play battleboats with on ItsYourTurn.com. Vivian and I were trying to adopt the twins she had several years back, but they died at birth or shortly thereafter. But, we loved this young lady so much we stayed in correspondence with her (though we've never seen her face to face or talked with her), and have "adopted" her as our daughter. Yesterday was the first time she felt comfortable enough to call. We talked for an hour or so, and it was really a time of sweet communion. She runs a soup kitchen in Rochester, NY, has no family except us, and asked for prayers from all I knew if they would pray for her. Things have been "hairy" there. One of the regulars at the soup kitchen was arrested last week on five counts of murder. They believe he murdered five teenaged boys. Sandy was a very good friend to this man, and he had helped several times at the soup kitchen. She's on the visitors list and is taking her pastor with her to try and witness again to this man, and to let him know that Jesus loves him no matter what he's done, and will forgive him of his sins. He came close to accepting the Lord right before these teens were murdered. Please pray for her, and for this man to be saved. What a witness he could be in prison if he'd just give his life to the Lord.

Well, it's sunny here today and supposed to be 75!
I'm having some severe vertigo attacks (I usually do with extreme weather changes) and don't know whether it's just my ears or the flu, also. Other than that, I feel great and am still praising the Lord!

Ya'll have a wonderful, Christ-filled and led day!

    T& V

Gib, thanks for the well wishes on the new place of worship. I just pray the Lord will use us there.
