Good morning all:

It's pretty nice here today...just a touch of sprinkles, and partially cloudy! Hope it turns out to be a great one for ya'll, too! If I'm not back this weekend, ya'll have a WONDERFUL "HE IS RISEN" DAY!

Well I've been up since just before 8:00. The sun is so bright, I thought it was much later! Once the leaves are on the trees, that'll be blocked from my bedroom window tho.

I have no children today so Nick and I can do his school work early and let him head out to play. We're expecting 75° the next few days.

Jim's very lovely boss notified the group that he's given his notice and is moving back to an old job. The money he makes is a guarantee and a percentage of sales. I hope they offer the job to Jim! He could easily inspire his sales people and has such wonderful idea! His guarantee would more than double!

 

Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood morning.

You realize, of course, that we were really mad at the Gibster or any of the other cat haters that we wouldn't bother wasting graemlins on them, right?

 

Well I got my official letter today from the 'Women's Center'. It was dated March 17th. Pretty much says, 'The only way we can make sure this abnormality is benign (not cancer) is to do another test'. I'll be glad when it's all over! Monday is the next test and results should be to the doctor by Wednesday. We don't have a center with a radiologist right there.

I've got lots I need to get done. I still have no idea what I'll wear to church on Sunday. I have a lovely blue and white dotted dress (sleeveless) with purse and shoes to match but it was too big for me last year. I have a bright yellow dress with a long jacket with short sleeves but it was too small for me last year. (Tight in the tummy). I guess I'll be making that decision by Saturday night.

 

just got home from physical therapy. my arm sure hurts. need a nap before conducting one-armed tonight.

 

Are you still black and blue Debbie? I bet you're sore for a long time! Sure pray you're okay really soon.

Cute Sue, very cute! Now I hope it tastes better than it looks.... Nowing you, I am sure it does.

It was a long day here in the Big Apple, and it is not over yet. Hope you folks will have a blessed Easter Sunday celebrtation in the house of the Lord. Since Lenke's surgery and my battle with the flu, this will be the first time we will be able to go to church. We are looking forward to it with great anticipation.

 

Maybe if you put a "kitty smiley face" on it, Sue, that will inspire SOMEONE! LOL

 

Well, I fell into this one, right? Actually the color combination is great, it reminds me of the rainbow (God's permanent promise not to bring deluge on the face of the Earth). It also resembles a large egg, which is a plus during Easter. I think, if you would have drawn the empty tomb on the egg, it would have really enhanced it's appearance. But again, as I said, the final test of the cake is it's taste - and knowing you, I do not think it has any draw back over there. Now the only bad thing about this is that I can't have a slice! And that is a real bad thing....

 

It's kind of funny to read you all discussing whether to go sleeveless, short sleeves, etc for Easter morning. This is a picture of my backyard taken today (Good Friday).


Clothing discussions usually run along the line of wool or cotton, Thinsulate or layers.

 

Ya'll just need to move south!

Today was a balmy 75 degrees. It was so warm we had to turn on the air conditioning!

Short sleeves eh? It's 76° right now and Nick was out without a shirt today, in his shorts! I sat on the deck in short sleeves but didn't stay long enough to sun burn!!
