Thanks Diane! It was so easy to make too!

I want some of your weather for Easter!

It is supposed to be 49º tomorrow and 42º Easter Sunday with RAIN!

I wonder if there are any statistics that bear out it will rain for six consecutive Sundays after Easter if it rains on Easter? I hope not!

Notice Brent has his hands and feet safely tucked away to keep the vicious beast from attacking them.

Gosh they're so cute! Oreo is really growing! Patches is hiding in the corner right now. Nick's hyper tonight and wants to serenade her with his harmonica. EEK! I don't want to hear it!! No wonder Patches is trying to hide!

Diane: Brent received a harmonica for Christmas. I lost it soon after. :D

I am going to take my library book and go to bed. I have 5 more days of Prednisone, but quit taking it today so I can get some sleep.

Next time the doctor is going to have to give me something else. This stuff makes me wacko...

Hubby is tearing out our bathtub tomorrow to install a corner shower cubicle so we have more room. I think I'd better get a good night's sleep tonight 'cause I'll probably be helping...

Pray he gets it up and running tomorrow or we will all be going to church Sunday without a shower!

    Pleasant dreams all!

LOL, Sue! You could take 2 prednisones and give one to Oreo and that tub would be torn out before midnight!

Sue, Brent and Oreo are so cute. They are both thriving in your care. They both look content and happy.

    Good morning all!

Welcome, Pistos, to the Baptist Board and the Coffee House! We are a friendly bunch here.

I had a nice surprise this morning. I got up and saw someone sleeping on the couch in the living room. It was Bobby! He had driven up from Kansas for his fiancé's birthday tomorrow and will be staying with us at night. It is SO good to see him!

It is 36º and foggy right now with a high expected of 46º with cloudy skies but no rain. Tomorrow, a high of 48º and maybe a few showers later in the day - maybe NOT. 70º Tuesday. Woo hoo!

Diane: You are just plain EVIL wanting me to take more Prednisone! I would have had the whole HOUSE torn up by midnight! [IMG]

Betty: Thank you. Brent is outgrowing all of his clothes and Oreo didn't stay small very long...

Brent and I are baking some Easter cookies today and also coloring some eggs. I imagine we will be helping Grandpa some too.

    Cruising while I can,

Morning all. I've been up since a little before five. Had to sit up to breath! Finally just got up, turned the coffee pot on and am waiting for Viv to wake up.

It was great here yesterday. Lots of sun and so warm! YES! [IMG] Today there is a chance for scattered showers, and we're praying they hold off until AFTER the egg hunt and puppet show at church. Tomorrow is supposed to be very rainy and stormy here.

Sue I'm thinking about missing a dose or two of my prednisone. I'd like to sleep, too! ;)

Oh boy! How did I know we would run into problems in the bathroom???

The bathtub is built into the walls on both ends about three inches! We are going to have to dismantle the walls!!!

Then, the tub is going have to be cut up in order to get it out of the bathroom. I KNEW this was going to be a two-week job...

I didn't want to give you nightmares but sort of figured you were going to have that problem. We did in our older home up north and we were just putting in a new tub. Jim had to use a sledgehammer to get the tub out! He broke it into pieces and we carried it down the very steep stairs. They must have carried it up before the walls and doorway was up. We only had 1 1/2 baths in that house and it was a pain in the........ trying to get showered. Thank the Lord for good neighbors. [IMG]

That's what Dale is doing now. He is using a sledge hammer to break the tub up because he doesn't have the right kind of saw!

I think we are going to have to gut two of the walls and do them completely over too. I'm just hoping we don't run out of money...

The way to get to the pipes was in my bedroom and they had plastered over it! So, now I have a gaping hole in my bedroom too.

I sure hope you can get what you need for a good price or even free off Freecycle. You might post and ask if anyone has plywood, 2X4's etc!

I got a neat e-mail from my mother this morning. Some of you may have read it, but I haven't.

Have we really learned all of these life lessons?

    "I have learned....

...that life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer ilt gets to the end, the faster it goes.

...that we should be glad that God doesn't give us everything we want.

    ....that money doesn't buy class.

....that the Lord didn't do it all in one day, so what makes me think I can?

....that to ignore the facts does not change the facts.

....that life is tough, but I am tougher.

....that opportunities are never lost; someone else will take the ones you missed.

....that when you harbor bitterness, happiness will dock somewhere else.

....that I wish I had said "I love you" more to those in my life who have passed away.

....that everyone want to live on the mountain top, but happiness and growth in the the climbing of it.

Those weren't all them, but those were some good ones.

What have you learned about life that really important?

    Peace-
    Scarlett O.

Well - the egg coloring is done, and the Easter cookies are baked, and the deviled eggs are still waiting to be fixed, and the bathtub is still half in and half out, and the.... <sigh>
