Okay Diane, you and I have both had our heart attacks for the week! Since things happen in 3's, I wonder who's next!

How 'bout me? we've been having plumbing problems, and Tuesday were told it's 'not up to code' the pipes are too thin and were given a quote of $4,100 to fix the whole shebang!!!!!  :(

These will be great to keep her busy this summer. I bet I can get the oldest to make the victorian ornaments you posted. Son might will make the animal ones. (maybe but I'm not going to hold my breath)

BTW, school lets out for summer in less than two weeks. Can you believe it? Can I stand it? ;)

Oh Gayla, that's not a heat attack that's a stroke!

Have you gotten more than one estimate?

    Not yet.
After we had the plumber look at it, I thought "duh! let's see if plumbing is covered on our warranty". It is, at least partially, and the warranty was supposed to call me back with the number of a plumber.
I'll give them a call in the morning.

Gayla, what did the seller guarantee at the time of sale, on the house inspection?
Also, many times codes are changed on new construction, and older houses are grandfathered in even though they are not up to the new code.

Sorry to hear that, Gayla! Since it's an older home, it may not have to be up to code, like Karen said. Check with the city. In our county, garages must have sprinkler systems but ONLY in the new homes.

Oh how I'm looking forward to the weekend! I'm BEAT! Baby Brayden wasn't easy to comfort yesterday. He has allergies and his nose was so stuffed that he couldn't sleep well or breathe and eat at the same time. MacKenzie skinned her knee twice. I told her not to run but .... and she wears tennis shoes that have flat bottoms and tiny shorts. Ty didn't have any problems, at least! Max had been hurt at school. I ran off the older neighborhood boys and told them they would need to start coming after the little kids have gone home. One is a child I don't care for at all! Roams the streets at 10 and 11 with Mom not even home....

Well the kids should be here by now and I can lay back down.
