Tony-You've been on my daily prayer list for awhile now. Praying that your breathing eases and you are able to be at prayer meeting tonight. I know that it's hard to stay in the house all the time. Praying that you can stay in God's House until Prayer Meeting is through. [IMG]

Well, I didn't get to church this evening. I had to get some medicine for the Bronchitis that has decided to go on the attack. I feel like I have a cement block sitting on my chest!

I am going to bed and hopefully I'll be able to work tomorrow.

    Pleasant dreams all!

    Morning all:

Rob (Friend of God), I thank you for your prayers. You've been on my list as well.

    Sue, I'm praying for you.

Well, the temp is dropping and it's starting to rain pretty heavy here. Can't believe how bad it is out there.

Made it to church last night, but wasn't really all there. Viv and I left immediately after the Bible study was over. It has been a rough night. But, this too will pass.

Hope ya'll have a good day.

Be good, Be kind, Be careful,

    T

    Morning,

Today is D-day. D as in dentist. I asked him if I could spare loosing all my wisdom teeth. He said a guy with my IQ should have a low voice too! I'm sure there's a compliment in there somewhere.

    Good morning all:

Gib: Praying for you. Dentists are NOT my favorite people!

Tony: Still praying for you. I am not feeling much better either. I did not go into work this morning. It's 40º with 84% humidity. :(

Jim: I will be glad to return your cement block as soon as I get it off of my chest! :D

I am staying inside today and not doing much of anything except for home schooling Brent. I can't seem to get enough sleep and that's not like me. Not being able to breathe really makes me feel tired and weak.

Much pain and swelling. The doctor said that was not uncommon and should be par for the course.

The whole procedure lasted about 35 minutes. I asked the nurse for some laughing gas to go. She just laughed and told me to go.

I've eaten some jello and are looking forward to instants mashed taters.

A milkshake would be good too - but don't use a straw!

And of course good old chicken noodle soup!

Uh oh, looks like I'm talking to myself again!

I am feeling some better, but still coughing and have a hoarse voice.

Hubby wants me to quit the 'corner' and just be a substitute. I'm thinking seriously about doing it. I've been at this job for close to 20 years. It was fine when I was younger and didn't have all these lung problems.

Hubby said it's just not worth it as much as I get sick, being out in all kinds of weather, and ruining my health.

Staying home sounds good, especially since I'm home schooling and raising a youngin'. It's a full time job in itself...

    Pleasant dreams all!

    Hey ya'll!

Sorry everyone is feeling so bad. I leave for a couple of days and everything just falls apart! ;)

Sue, I'm with Dale. If you're this sick already, how much worse will it be working out in all kinds of winter weather?

I'll probably be mostly off the BB for the next few days. Some things have been happening at Precious' school that I'm not to thrilled with. Since the biggest problem stems from her health problems, I've been researching the best way to deal with it. I've gotten some good ideas, but still need to put together a coherent presentation before I go talk to the school superintendent. The principal has made her stand so unfortunately it seems I must make one of my own. I want to make sure I'm standing on very solid ground before I make any big waves.

Ya'll don't miss me to bad. I'll be back eventually!

"We have educated ourselves into imbecility" ~ G.K. Chesterton

Just remember when dealing with professional educators, MK, to speak slowly and don't use big words. The proverbial straw that broke this camel's back was our middle child's teacher saying, "I don't care. I'm retiring at the end of the school year."

We started home schooling the next week.

Who's going to bake if MK is gone? I think I'm having early cookie withdrawl!

Do your homework MK! ;) I'm sure that you can solve this problem at school. My DIL had problems when my diabetic granddaughter needed injections. They wanted her to leave her meds at the office which was a long way from her classroom. This was not an acceptable solution. My DIL had to take a stand and she won. Thank goodness, my granddaughter has an insulin pump now and does not have that problem.

    Sue, take Dale's advice!

Good Night, all. I have been busy all day. Not sure what I have been doing, but I've been busy.

I didn't have chance earlier, but Wednesday night and all day Thursday, we had a wicked storm with rain and strong winds. Huge trees were down all over the area. There were few injuries, praise God, but a lot of damage. Down the lane from me, a tree fell upon a garage and virtually smashed it. We could hear the wind howling in the woods all night and I fear what it would have been like had we not had that woods in front of the house.

    Cheers, and God bless,

    Jim

    Good afternoon all:

Jim: Did you get any damage at your house?

This is my first time online today. My computer went on the fritz and I just took it to the repair shop and rented a computer to use for a week.

I must run to the grocery store now and pay bills.

    HAGD!

    Sue,
Fortunately, we did not have any damage, but we are somewhat protected by the hard woods in front of house and we are one quarter mile off the road behind these woods. Thanks for asking.

    Cheers,

    Jim
