    Morning folks,

Had a few minutes to stop in. Viv and I didn't really do any thing special for Valentines Day this year. She did come home to all the dishes done, the kitchen cleaned, etc. I just didn't have time to make dinner. We'll have a great dinner, cooked by me (and I'm a pretty decent cook) on Friday. [IMG]

It's a lot warmer here today. It's 48 right now! But, we're supposed to go back down into the 20's in a few days.

Sue, I like your new picture. I am trying to get mine scanned in so I can use it.

Thanks to all who are praying. I talked to the pastor of one of the churches we used to attend (he was the assistant pastor then) and though the church is almost 30 miles away, he would like us to come and visit. So, we may do that tonight. If the drive seems too long after tonight and Sunday morning services, we'll continue to pray about where the Lord wants us and visit around some more. But, at least we know tht this church is doctrinally sound now, and we're familiar with the people there, at least some of them. [IMG]

Hope y'all had a great Valentines Day!

    Bro. T

    Thanks, Tony.

    Good morning all,

It is going to be 45º today but it will be raining and we are to have thunderstorms tonight and tomorrow.

Ron, thanks for the TheraFlu, but I can't take OTC meds because of bad allergic reactions.

I am feeling much better today. I think I went to bed around 7:00 last night and although sleep was fitful, I still feel rested.

I'm going to try a glass of milk and one of those cake donuts! I'm getting tired of chicken noodle soup and 7-UP.

Brent was running a low-grade fever last night. Please pray that he doesn't get what I have had for the last few days!

    Surfing,

It is 54-degrees this morning, wind should get
up to 35, temp up to 75. The low of 54 degrees
today is 20 degrees warmer than we are supposed
to get all day Friday (i.e. the high on Friday).
Up & down, did I mention
that Oklahoma has weather, not climate?

The likelyhood that the cold air hitting the
warm air will produce some ground mosture is
    20% :(

Well I got my skin freeze sprayed yesterday,
he just put down 13 spots (one spot is one
price, 2-14 spots is another price,
15+spots is another price, Doc really doesn't
count). And another spot I got cut off.
So I'll have some nice blisters and some
scar tissue will form. Scar tissue isn't
as likely to form skin cancers as my skin is.

Nice to 'see' you, Petrel .

Preacher: BH is probably tired because, since I've been sick, she has had to do the nightly clean-up (she's keeping the business in the family).

    I hear you, Bro. Ed.

Who knew 55 years ago, when I was outside 16 hours a day getting freckles, that it would lead to this???

I have had several 'spots' removed and am due to have some more done.

Very uncomfortable and definitely disfiguring. You will have to do what I do and wear bangs.

    Time for breakfast and school.

    HAGD!

Last nite, we went to our little bitty cabin in the mountains, it was -5 degrees, but we had close to a full moon, a clear sky, and everything with snow on it was glowing. So at midnite, we went coss-country skiing across the lake. I wish I could tell you how beautiful it was.

We woke up to -15 degrees, and it was pretty hard to get up, but we managed. The drive home, with the frozen mountains showing off in the sunlight, and the memory of the night before are things I will always treasure. I am so glad God gave me a life in Montana, and he gave me my Mrs. Curtis. I felt like the most blessed guy on Earth.

Hard to think about work, today brothers & sisters.

The summers are great, but I get very nervous hiking into any wilderness areas. The grizzly bears wake up in April, and eat pretty much 'till November. I can't say what I'd do if I bumped into one, even with the hand cannon I wear. [IMG]

    Brother Curtis,

I read once that if you tie tiny bells to your belt loops it will scare most bears away.

What you have to do when hiking is look at the droppings to see if there are grizzlies in the area. You can tell grizzly droppings by the tiny bells in them. [IMG]

Have you checked to see if it's legal to kill one even in self defense? I know use to be in some states if you didn't let the bear eat cha' you could go to jail. Nice choice huh?

    Praise The Lord!!

My former Daughter-in-Law took her newborn son Sean, who was born with spinal bifida, and is paralyzed from the waist down, to the doctor yesterday and during the examination the nurse noticed that he has some feeling in his upper legs.

This is a tremendous answer to prayer.

You can shoot any animal in self-defense out here. But they will investigate to be sure. A handgun wound at close range will look nothing like a distance shot with an H.P.R.

F.o.G., that is great news, and we pray this is the beginning of a whole lot of great news.

F.o.G. that is great news! The surprises from our Father are never ending!!

Sue, if BH is cleaning at nite...that figures, just like a yungun', will do that for you & won't even clean up her own room here at home!! Course I'm bout' tired as her this evening. After not doing anything for 5 days it was hard work cleanin', but Agee enjoyed herself..till it was time for her to go to her job. We even have another one to clean tomorrow, plus my temp co. called me & asked if I could come into the plant this Fri. instead of Mon.! Just can't get over our Lord!!

I thought about your squirrelly little friend today preacher, as I was driving because of the way this one moved. A squirrel was in the road not too far ahead, and I had plenty of time to safely come to a stop and give it time to get across. The poor thing didn't look injured, but was dragging one of its hind legs and not moving all that fast. It turned as if to go back across the road, realized there was no point, and crossed over to where it was originally going.
    Cute little critter!
