WELCOME ONE AND ALL TO THE...

The only "RULE" here is NO fussin' - NO fightin' - NO feudin'!

I will try to be here to serve you; but if not, feel free to help yourself.

First one in every morning puts the coffee and tea on, last one out at night turns the lights off...

We serve donuts, cinnamon toast (dry toast available upon request), crumpets, bagels, scones, croissants, brioche rolls, donuts, yogurt, salads, light lunches, popsicles, ice cream, homemade cookies, homemade cakes, homemade pies, and homemade jams.

We also serve coffee (with/without caffeine), hot chocolate, hot tea, iced tea, fresh squeezed lemonade and orange juice, cappuccino, Mountain Dew, DP, DDP, Coke, Pepsi, Diet Sierra Mist, milk, milk shakes, Kool-Aid, and Carb Options.

If you don't see your drink or food of choice...just ask, we will do our best to stock it for you!

Our aim is to please...come and sit a spell, enjoy the fellowship and come back often!

As Christians, we are ALL on common ground...

    Good morning all,

It looks like rain all day today, but we need it. I am having my daughter and her two sons for supper, so I'm making homemade cheesecake (her favorite).

Officer Muldoon saw we were moving and asked if we needed a security guard. I told him BH was doing just fine, handed him a couple of donuts and sent him on his way.

    No baby yet...

I'm going to have a cup of coffee and (at least) one of those delicious looking, chocolate iced cake donuts!

    Good morning!

I managed to roll out of bed a bit earlier today. Good thing because spring break is about to end *boohoo*

Today, I go to the allergist and then the mall to hunt for a mother of the groom outfit. Needs to be black, formal, and cool -- the wedding is Memorial day weekend, outside, on NC coast. *fan*

Well, my head is small, but I've got big hair. [IMG]

I've had my haircut since then, but at least they got rid of my double chin in that picture. ;)

Not black! You'll die in the heat!

There are some nice light colored MoB outfits out there. You do not have to wear black, just something neutral that doesn't clash with the bridal party. (my best friend own a formal wear shop)

    Good morning everyone!

Chris was up and chipper this morning! Yea! I am so glad I went ahead and took him in yesterday. This really does seem like the magic combo for him.

I feel much better this morning as well. I can move without pain! To bad I have to spend all day taking Cassie to B'ham to the rhuematologist. But, I have to see to getting yet another letter for the school, so we gotta go. Plus, we should get the results back on the x-rays of her hands today too. I'm hoping that those won't show permanent damage.

It's cool and damp here today. Wasn't really expecting that, so I'm off to check the weather for the day. My luck, it'll be rain the entire time we are in B'ham.

Wow, it was only supposed to get to 60 here today, and it's already past 65 heading towards 70!

Vivian got her tomato plants started in little cups, and there are sprouts coming up all over the place! I hope we have a lot of tomato plants this year and can get a large amount of those canned the way we wanted to last year.

The grass is turning green here, and I believe in a week or so, I'll have to start mowing again! I look forward to that, even though it throws me into asthma attacks! I love to do yard work. It's relaxing.

    Have a great day, ya'll! ;)

Well, I was TOLD to wear black. [IMG] The bride's mother got a black dress with ivory trim and they want me in black too.

Right now, these are my choices:

    1) This is a camisole with a sheer shirt over it. The skirt is just one I hung behind it to kind of get the feel. I've got a pair of crepe pants that would go with it or I could get a softer skirt.

    Bigger Pix of 1

    2) This is a linen pants suit I got to wear to Manhattan, but it turned too cool. I didn't even think about it, but my principal told me that she thought it would be great. It's not got much shape hanging. The shape is much nicer on.

    Bigger Pix of 2

    Embrodery on pants

    3)Little black dress ???

    Bigger Pix of 3

I've also got a black linen shift. I could wear the shear jacket in the first picture over that. *sigh*

    OK, which one???

    # 3....Best looking one of them all. #1, too gaudy...draws attention away from the Bride and Groom.

    JMHO. ;)

Thanks guys -- looks like #3 is a sweep!

(and I certainly do NOT want to look gaudy! Yikes!)

No it not! You didn't wait for me to get back.

    I like #2! 3 is pretty though.

Made it home again finally! Docs are still puzzled at what has caused/is causing Cassie's neck and joint pain, but they are still calling it arthritis for lack of a better explanation. Hand x-rays taken last visit were normal, even though her hands were swollen and red today. I'm going to start taking pictures, I believe. Since we can only see this doc once a month and our next appointment is in September, he doesn't really get to see her much when she has a bad flare. Hopefully a picture will help him see what we see.

All in all it was a good day!

Am I in the right place??? Looks Around...Yeah this is the coffee house,..ya better put them thar outfits up fore I turn BH loose later. She's ruff on nice clothes, or any clothes for that matter!!
My wittle wife had a day off & we spent it...around the house. We moved the TV antenna from one side of the house to the other, to no avail. Still don't come in much better. Then we cleaned out BH's cage & gave her a bath...in the kitchen sink this time! She was doing great till she noticed all the dishes in the drainer & they scared her for some reason.
Then we went outside to let Sam out awhile & work on mowers some more. Like AV we'll be mowing here proably in a week or two.
Then...Agee came in & made an apple pie, er cobbler...er fritter thing. Don't know but it was good!! Emphasis on the was!!!
Now I gotta go in a bit & eat supper!!

Well, I vote #3 as well. Very classy.

I like the blue on the wall in the pic. That's the same color as my master bedroom. [IMG]

#3 for me too (but I also like #1 and it is NOT gawdy!!!)

Supper was great and company just left. I cooked all morning, raked up limbs all afternoon, then had company all evening. I'm tired!

My oldest daughter is here from Indiana for a few days. She will be a first time Grandma if that baby ever gets here...

    Pleasant dreams all!

    Good morning all,

I am cooking corned beef and cabbage in honor of...

We will also have cornbread and cheesecake with strawberries.

It is not raining so the tree service should be here this morning to cut the 3 sweetgum ball trees down in front.

I am going to miss the shade, but it will be such a relief not to have to rake those balls 12 months a year! They are dangerous when walking too. Maybe I can even grow some grass now! [IMG]

It has turned back 'coldish' here with the high being only 41º. Three more days until Spring. I hope the weather realizes this and cooperates!

    HAGD!

    That tree is still hanging!?!

Well, I'm pooped today after a day of shopping and basketball watching yesterday that went into this morning.

I will admit that I keep thinking about what my friend said on dress for the wedding -- she told me to wear beige and blend into the woodwork (like a good mother of the groom). Last night, on the way to the game, we had 30 minutes to kill and went to a bigger mall. They did have some lovely things in beige . . .

I need to go back and look when I've got more time. I could always tell the kids . . . What would I tell the kids??

Ron was with me. He kept pointing out low cut or short skirted things -- You could wear that hehe, he'd say. Men! He was actually helpful when he quit being silly. :D
