    Don't be too quick in putting me in that group.. LOL...

    I just know that there is NO specific scripture that constitutes what must be done in a wedding..

    There are many wedding customs all over the world.
    All of them constitute a legal marriage before God.

    And if a State decides that if a man and woman want to come together and declare their vows before themselves and God... and say they are married.. then IF that couple IN that State follow the rules of that state in doing so.. they are LEGALLY married... especially since there is NO specifics in the Bible as to what must be in a wedding ceremony for it to be considered legitimate...

    We may not like it.. but it is considered legal.

    I would prefer a man and woman standing before a pastor in a church building..
    But is a person married in a third world country who doesn't?

    I am still up in the air over Common Law Marriages..
    They are LEGAL marriages. But....
