Ok, so I don't keep up with the Communist Manifesto. But this was interesting. Of the 10 planks, #5 is:

Are the actions of the current credit crisis and the bailout plan in-line with plank 5?

Rep. Virginia Fox was on our local news/talk radio station yesterday after the House voted down the proposed bailout plan. She said, among other things, that a former chairman of the FDIC had met with conservative Republican members of the House and about 14 Democrates the day before and showed them a plan that would solve the current financial problems without costing the American taxpayers one single dime. She that the board of directors of the Securities and Stock Exchange Commission has the power to correct most of the problems with the stroke of a pen and it would not require any Congressional legislation to do so.

Now why aren't we hearing about this kind of information in the national news media? Is there a vested interest keeping this "crisis" going right up until election day so that the current Administration can be blamed thereby helping the cause of BHO and the Dems? Also, is there a vested interest in pushing the country further down the road to Socialism?

I do not know what Communist Manifesto you are reading, if any, but there is nothing about credit in the Communist Manifesto that was written by Marx and Engels and published in 1848 which begins:

You bet they are and that's the real reason for killing the bailout legislation even if it does have some short term negative effects. We can get over those things.

The bail out plan was Pres. Bush's bail out plan. Through his Sec. of the Treasury he tried to coerce the Congress and the American people to accept it. Bush has increased his power throughout his "reign." There is a parallel. Bush was trying to become the supreme ruler.
