I doubt seriously that Obama tried to unduly influence the governor. He may have suggested a name, but I doubt that there was anything underhanded.

Folks, that is not the problem with Obama. The problem is Obama is (as demonstrated yet again), a very immature judgment. He simply does not make good decisions about who he surrounds himself with. Rahm Emmanuel is an excellent illustration of that.

Mark Impomeni is by no means an unbiased source.

I'll tell you folks what - sort through it all and the bottom line is I don't care if Barack talked to the fella about the U.S. Senate seat or not. It is not illegal to discuss names. The election is long over and there's nothing that the anti-Obama crowd can do about it for the next four years. :)

Even if true(and I don't agree with your statement at all) there is not a cotton pickin' thing you can do about it for the next four years. :)

Mr. Axelrod retracted this erroneous statement. That should be sufficient.

Obama tries to gain distance from Ill. governor

.......................His statement that he didn't have contact with Blagojevich about the Senate seat seems to conflict with that of top adviser David Axelrod, who told Fox News Chicago on Nov. 23: "I know he's talked to the governor, and there are a whole range of names, many of which have surfaced, and I think he has a fondness for a lot of them."....................

You should agree with my statement because it is accurate. Obama has shown horribly immature judgment in his picks. His approach to picking advisors is not tested by time and experience.

As for what we can do, I am doing what I was going to do for the next four years anyway: Preach the gospel.

Your statement is about as 100% wrong as a statement can be. So far his cabinet picks are the best by a new president in a long time.

Because there is evidence that there was contact between the gov and Obama. There is nothing but his word in the retraction.

Fact: The gov new of Obama's choice for the senate seat

Fact: The gov had some idea that Obama was not going to give him anything in return

Fact: Obama's choice is mentioned in the complaint against the gov as candidate #1

Fact: Obama's choice for the senate seat took herself out of the running

So you believe one thing that Axelrod said, Pastor Mitchell, that satisfies your anti-Obama agenda while rejecting another thing that Axelrod said that is contrary to your anti-Obama agenda. I see.

That's just a dumb thing to say, Ken. You don't even believe that. Picking Joe Biden was an absolutely horrible choice, perhaps as bad as could have been made. Picking Clinton to be SoS is inexplicable. This is a woman with no experience in foreign policy, with a tendency to be short-tempered. Picking Rahm Emmanuel was a dumb choice. This guy is rude, arrogant, divisive, and profane. Bottom line, Obama has demonstrated what many of us had the wisdom to see a long time ago ... that he doesn't make good choices.

Of course you are the same guy who wouldn't buy a car for $1 apparently, so we know your judgment can't be trusted.

    1) Nope. Your statement is way, way dumber than mine.

    2) You get what you pay for.

I exposed the truth about your selectivity, Pastor Mitchell. That's good enough for me.

Now if you will please excuse me I have to start heading for bed as I have to get up early tomorrow morning and do a three hour radio show. :)

No it wasn't. Don't make this personal

Not always. Take our government for instance. We are not getting what we pay for. But the fact remains that for the right price, people will buy cars from bankrupt companies. You would do it and you know it.

I agree. Obama has proven time and time again that he has very poor judgment or is a liar. I find it hard to believe he is sooooooooooo clueless about all of his associates, close friends and his dear Uncle Rev Wright.

I'm waiting to see the money trail of Obama's campaign stock pile. He reeks of Chicago corruption.

Correct, so why did he lie?

It's almost as if he's so used to lying now that he can't even recognize when it's not necessary because there's nothing to hide.
