I will make an attempt to avoid getting you started doing such things.

    "Freedom is not free."

Thousands have given their "all" to keep the "stars and bars" and the constitution it represents at the top of the highest flagpole.

    Selah,

I keep tellin' them that, Sue! It ain't the Stars and Bars anymore, boys! The last flag that General Lee waved in General Grant's face---was white!!!

But let me ask you a question---if the Confederate constitution seemed so good---and the whole Confederate idea seemed so brilliant and flawless---with that in mind---here's the question

Where did Jeff Davis go after the Confederacy was dissolved??? And why??

The US flag was hijacked by the same groups, you will see more US flags at KKK rallies than you will Confederate flags. Should we get rid of them as well, same with the cross and the Bible, the KKK carries them around too.

What a lot of folks don't realize is that it was the Stars and Stripes that carried Negro slaves to this country. The Battle Flag is not a sign of slavery, nor a symbol of racism or hatred.

I have to live here, as this is where the Lord placed me to live(and there's no other place to go), but America is no longer the country it used to be. At least under the Stars and Bars, thousands of innocent unborn babies weren't murdered...sodomite marriages, sodomite partner benefits, sodomite priest child-molesters, sodomite hate crime laws, and ever-increasing sodomite acceptance wasn't commonplace.

It is a wicked federal government that sanctions these things and "the wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God."

Bush has been returned to office, and with him will come more God-hating judges, more liberty stealing laws, more spending, and more unjust war.

Here's what God thinks of the whole mess: "Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD; and shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?"

Granny~a true Southron who loves the old ways...

These things were not a part of the USA in 1865 either.

Including cowards in white robes and hoods dealing with the "negro problem?"

Including "white and colored" rest rooms and water fountains?

Including whites in decent schools and "colored" in run-down shacks with one book for an entire class?

No, Debby...the old ways as in: when times were simpler, when there was only one Bible, when neighbours truly loved one another, when families had respect for each other, when mamas and daddys stayed together and taught their children the ways of the Lord, when a man had a little piece of ground he could call his own, when one could drive a truck without "having" to buckle-up, shoot, or even to have "permission" to drive it, when you could make butter that was so fresh it slid right off a hot biscuit...I could go on & on, but I think you get the idea, yes?

And none of this has anything to do with the confederate flag or the confederate south. It has to do with a changing society, growing deeper into public sins, further away from God, as other societies have done over history. It is a symptom of the need for Jesus, not confederacy, under a treasonous flag. It is a sign of the coming times when the sheep and goats will be seperated and God's judgement will be upon mankind(those wihtout Jesus).
All the things you attribute to the confederate flag and those times were just that common to those times, no matter where you lived in this country.
At least we don't beat people becasue we do not like thier color, we don't starve peopel becasue of their color, we don't rip families apart forceable and seperate them never to see each other again.
Thats what was done under your confederate flag.
    And thats what you support.

As we can see from history(and it still happening so we know it did happen) this is what the confederate flag means to people. Makes them feel superior to others of God's creation, thats Jesus died for(how sad this must make God) as if they have the right to 'deal' with other peoples they do not like becasue of color. Dealing with the negro problem, does that sound christian to you? Sound Christ like?
Yet this is where granny's support and aligence stands.
No, thank you, I'm a christian, and I'll have none of it.
