The last Republican debate both confirmed something I knew and left me disappointed.

I was greatly disppointed in Fred Thompson. Nothing inspiring there. And Ronnie just confirmed what I knew about him.

He was willing to say in front of millions of people that there has not been an imminent threat on America in 220 years. Only shows just how disconnected he is with reality.

After watching the debate in whole, it can best be summed up as a bunch of guys arguing over who is going to get beat by Hillary Clinton in the general election.

He was certainly wrong about that.

Thompson certainly didn't do great but I am not ready to close the door on him.

Me neither Ken, but he'll have to show a lot more presidential qualities.

Yep. Of course Guiliani wasn't willing to let it go unreproved. Guilliani asked himm where he was on Sept. 11th. I would add he appears to also overlook Dec 7 1941.

What he also is willing to overlook so he doenst have to deal with it is the many attacks on military assets around the world. sometimes I think he is touched in the head.

Getting back to someone who has a chance at the nomination, Fred Thompson did not do all that bad in the debate. It was his first debate, and his stride will pick up. As for timing, he entered plenty early. Its the other 8 idiots that started a year too early.

Fred Thompson has flaws, no doubt. We all do. He stands head and shoulders above the likes of Giuliani and Romney, and he could actually beat Hillary.

I disagree. The GOP is doomed next year. The Clintons own the Republicans in politics just like Dallas owns Buffalo in pro sports.

I have been anxiously awaiting for Fred Thompson to enter the race, but to be honest I have been disappointed about his lack of enthusiasm. He doesnt seem to really want it to me. I hope that he will pick up the pace as this campaign goes along.

Please bear in mind that FDR knew in advance that the Japanese were going to attackand in fact prodded them into it.
There is undeniable truth if you would investigate it honestly.
With regards to 9/11/ 01 I haven't decided yet if we were complicit in the act or were only aware that it was going to take place. But in the true sense of the term imminent threat I think he is correct, our greatest threat comes from an establishment in Washington DC that has an aggenda to surrender american sovereignty to a global parliment.....

If Giuliani thinks it was organized in Pakistan and he wishes to get tough on terrorism why not run a campaign to invade Pakistan (which he is not doing)?

I have been waiting for this to come up. All though I thought it would be from Poncho. I hear tin foil hats are on sale this week.

    Possibly.

But Clinton would love nothing better than a legitimate third party candidate to ensure her victory.

I doubt that she will get one unless Unity08 comes up with a big name. Also, depending on who a group such as Unity08 could get - it could be someone who would take votes away from her.

If you truly care to investigate try John Tolands book
Infamy (pearl harbor and its aftermath) otherwise take the red pill and go back to sleep.

How can you live in a country so evil ? If it's leaders kill their own people so they can get social security pushed through, and pass the patriot act, isn't it beyond hope ?

Oh yeah, the "everyone who doesn't buy into it, has to be on drugs" routine gets you very little in the way of convincing people you are on the correct side.
