    More "selective blindness" on Dr. Waite's part. Seems his KJVO myth is almost all-important to him.

    It is interesting that it is D. A. Waite himself that shows that he is actually giving out misinformation around this nation when he keeps
    repeating his inaccurate "only 421 differences"
    count.

    In response to the KJVOs-Don't you think that if the KJV was the ONLY accurate version that the Lord would only allow that version, and not so many others? :confused:
    I'm not knocking the KJV, just the opinions of some that it is the ONLY accurate, inspired version of the Holy Bible. 2 Timothy 3:16

    Friend of God;
    In response to your question, No.
    Otherwise we would only have one church also.
    Or only one doctrine taken from Scripture.
    Or...well you get my drift I suppose.
    God allows many things which make no sense to our finite minds wouldn't you say?

    Now...if you want to have a plethora of translations, that is your business between you and God. I would only ask for the same courtesy.

    In HIS service;
    Jim

    David Cloud commended the "diligent study" and
    "dilegent research" of Waite, and he indicated that Waite should be taken as an example of those who defend the KJV (EXAMINING "THE KING JAMES ONLY CONTROVERSY, pp. 18-20). Cloud also maintained that Waite "has tallied and categorized every change and has shown us exactly what the differences are" (p. 73).

    That's the same Dr. Cloud who claims the arnabeth is "a rabbit" while there are no rabbits in Palestine.

    David Cloud also claimed that the coney [Hebrew word shaphan] was a rabbit.

    I wonder if Elmer Fudd knows about these "conies", or should we say, "wonies?" :eek:
