Congress Bans Internet Gambling

    I am in favor of people being able to bring their pets with them if it is necessary for the government to evacuate them.

    I am also in favor of people being able to bring their human children with them if it is necessary for the government to evacuate them.

    You can take your individual liberty to far. Lets just set you apart from all laws and then when someone breaks into your house you must fend for yourself.

    You are wrong about the communist agenda. They want to do it through the federal government. I believe in doing it through the state. But regardless of how you do it if there is a better way to stop gambling then bring it up. Either way it must be stopped.

    I am not in favor of the government interfering with individual liberty. Our nation fought a war for independence from England for these rights and I think we should honor the blood they shed and the blood that was shed in other wars, such as World War I and World War II and in Iraq today to protect these individual liberties.

    Saving our children goes without saying. Putting people in jepordy to save pets is anothr issue and not equivelent.:BangHead:

    Do you want the government to pass laws attempting to prevent all behavior of which you disapprove? If the government passes a law to ban going to church services will you support banning that individual liberty as well?

    I imagine there are folks that don't approve of people going to church services. Once it becomes alright for the government to regulate individual behavior everything is fair game.

    Children were created in the IMAGE of God... fluffy the cat wasn't.

    She is just a cat.....not a human...

    At least there is a plan. Thanks. Now, tell me how this plan will work to stop parents from blowing their entire paycheck every week on gambling while their children are starving.

    I think that all abortions should be banned - period. The unborn child has individual liberties that should be protected.

    In an ideal world, people would get saved then the HS would instruct them that it is wrong...

    But also in an ideal world, Christians would call gambling for what it is, "a sin" and would not defend it.
