Why do we want to let people off from the consquenses of their sins?

Yes, we are commanded to forgive the sin, but not the consquenses of that sin!

I really don't think humans do forget, and the consquences are what comes after the sin. Many times people will say, I forgive you, but I do not think I can ever forget what you done. I think true forgiveness is when you do forget.

Just like the consquence of sin is God not being a partaker with you. When you sin, the consquence is God cannot see you. There is no relationship with God. You are Dead.

But when Jesus came and we accepted Him, he wiped our slate clean. It is there no more. It is forgotten. We should be just like Jesus.
    Jesus changes everything.

Consquences are the result or outcome from our sins.

When we sin, the consquence is death.

    Yes, the sin is forgiven.

    But, the consquenses must stay.

Alot of Christians want to wipe the slate clean of both.

God's grace is amazing and He is so merciful to me!

We don't always need to be the one's doling out the consequences.

Wisdom may dictate when it is appropriate and when it is vindictive.
