I noticed the ads for the new Keanu Reeves film "Constantine". Have any of you seen it as yet? I looked at the review and it has me just a little curious as to where the idea came from, it sounds to me like the "Nephilliam" pre the flood in Genesis?

    - Keanu Reeves has played his share of messianic characters, from The One in "The Matrix" to the Buddha in "Little Buddha."

In his newest film, "Constantine," Reeves' character is a man who's been to hell and back. Born with the gift (or curse) of being able to recognize the half-breed angels and demons that walk the earth disguised as humans, John Constantine is driven to take his own life to escape his tormenting visions. When he fails, he is returned to the land of the living against his will.

Marked as an attempted suicide -- a sin punishable by eternal damnation -- he is bound temporarily to earth, hoping in vain to earn his way to salvation by sending the devil's foot soldiers back to hell. As part of his penance, he regularly performs exorcisms using sacred relics as weapons. But he doesn't have much time.

The movie "Constantine" comes from a comic book series. I don't think it has anything to do with the Bible or with the Nephilim. It is pure fantasy.

A lot of comics have themes of hell and creatures coming up from hell (this was also in "Buffy and the Vampire Slayer" tv show).

getting over done..but again I have not seen
it not a real big fan of Keanu..he seems stiff
    as an actor.

If we had the money that Hollywood spends on movies, we could impact the world for Jesus.

If people obeyed the principle of the tithe
and offering..we would have the money and
more to do amazing things 24/7..agreed

If we all had the character and integrity to avoid the ungodly material that comes from the left wing, God-hating, anti-Christian, socialism supporting, sex-obsessed, self-centered, Hollywood crowd, then we might do amazing things. I include myself as one whose "spirit is willing but flesh is weak".

Caught the previews. I'll probably skip it. Even my daughter thaught it looked weird. But she wants to see it.
