Does anyone know where I can get a recorded performance of the Cotton Patch Gospel music on CD?

I have the video and I've been able to locate a cassette online, but it would be much more convenient to have it on CD.

My love is performing the music for a local production of Cotton Patch Gospel and needs the music to practice and develop the parts for the band.

    Thanks!

Wasn't Cotton Patch Gospel created by the same people who came up with Greater Tuna Christmas and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat ?

As long as they're not the ones responsible for the Cotton Patch Bible, they should be fine ;)

    Matthew 2:13
After they had checked out, the Lord’s messenger made connection with Joseph in a dream and said, “Get moving, and take your wife and baby and highball it to Mexico.”

Cotton Patch Gospel was the work of Harry Chapin. His last, in fact.

Joseph was the creation of Andrew Lloyd Webber (Jesus Christ Superstar, Cats, Phantom of the Opera) and Tim Rice (Superstar, Beauty and the Beast, Lion King).

It hasn't been released on CD, so far as I can determine, although it's still available on stage.

Greater Tuna was created by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard.

Yep, he died shortly after writing the songs... His brother completed the arrangements, hired the musicians (bluegrass) and helped work up the stage production.

I was afraid of that... I may have to buy the tape and get someone to convert it to CD for me. The music is great and the lyrics are often very moving.

    Thanks! :D

Is that the same Harry Chapin who sang "Cat's in the Cradle", among other songs?
