    Somewhere in a box I've got the Cotton Patch edition of Luke and Acts (the "Doings" and the "Happenings").

    Don't take it seriously as a translation. But it's fun to read.

    well, every translation has its use, incl. the Douay-Rheims, KJB1611He, KJB1769w136SubstantialChanges, ERV, NIV, theMessage, etc.

    i don't see why the CottonPatch isn't useful in its own way.
