    Calling those wars "meaningless" is an insult to the hundreds of thousands of military men and women who, when asked about the "why" of being there, said it was absolutely necessary to protect the lives and the rights of others, and that they would return if asked. Such comments are unworthy of us when we consider their sacrifices, and their willingness to do it again for the sake of the people both here and there.
