Hi, this is my second post if I am not mistaken.
I just got this info by a friend.

I read the story, started to read more and found it interessting enough to share it with all of you.

I wonder how many of the possible things that could happen if it is true, has to do with waht the bible tells us in Revalation.

    Comet story

It is all recently, so the story is still unfolding.

I would like to know your opinion from a biblical perspective. And if you have any knowledge on the subject, the better.

Interesting, but I believe the horrific events of Revelation (they're called mountains or stars falling to earth) will happen after we are long gone to Heaven. I am pretribulional.

My husband lectured in astronomy for a number of years and I asked him to look at the photos. We also checked out a number of the links and looked at the SOHO photos. Here are some of his comments:

"It is impossible to know the actual relationship of the comet to the solar flare in these pictures The photos that we are seeing in two dimensions, and it could be merely a line of sight effect."

"It is quite common for comets to crash into the sun. Massive solar flares are fairly common events also."

However it is easy to be impressed by such displays, but it is probably not so good to put more into them than what they are.
