Hey M.P....you know that gin-swilling hound you have as an avatar ? Check out this conversation he had with Stewie....

Stewie: (Stewie and Brian kissing) I am so gay!
    Brian: Yeah I'm a homo.
Army Guy: Any room for one more?
    Stewie: Hell yeah!
    (Brian smacks Stewie)

She has no reason to apologize. She has a right to say what she wants to under the Constitution. The last thing I would want is some kind of government interference in her right to speak.

I find her very abrasive and obnoxious at times, but she speaks truth. She could make the same points without the names, but that is just my opinion.

No, the way to get her or Limbaugh or Michael Moore out of the limelight is for people to stop paying attention to them. When the ratings stop, they will go away. Until then, the fact they are still around says someone wants to hear them.

    She's selling tons of books.

Sometimes she cracks me up. I can feel the impotent rage of liberals rumbling thru the earth like an earthquake.

    Michael Moore can't compete. She's much smarter.

I not so convinced of that in this particular instance!

Agreed. No suggestion otherwise from me that's for sure!

I like what she has to say most of the time. She doesn't seem so abrasive to me.

She did apologize, wonder if Bill Maher has yet for saying everybody'd be better off if Cheney were dead?

Uhhh, Bill didn't say that. If you watched the show in question you would have known that.

So what exactly did he say ?

" "I’m just saying if he did die, other people, more people would live. That’s a fact."

And he has a right to say that, however numb it makes him appear. Cheney sure didn't invent killing people. I like it when Maher says stuff like that. I want him to continue. Seems like the left should want Ann to continue, with all the damage she supposedly does to the right.

I watched the show and you are correct, Bill Maher did not advocated nor did he wish evil on Cheney; however, when he had this conversation, I said to my self that there would probably be some Swiftboating by many on the right-wing fringes.

Gotta love the humor of "The Family Guy". It is one of the funniest shows on TV. And if you watch it, you know that neither Brian nor Stewie are gay. Besides, Stewie's a baby and Brian's an anthropomorphic dog! ;)

I didn't even think it was possible to "swiftboat" Bill Maher. He was just joking, of course.

My opinion of John Edwards has just shot up - being opportunistic is synonomous with being a trial lawyer:

The video there won't work for me - it skips and stutters. But, yeah, she's reenergized his campaign.

Sorry, I can't watch it. It's entirely too vulgar for me, and I'm a pretty hard guy to offend. I knew though, after the two or three minuites I did watch, that I could find them making fun of gays. I knew they weren't gay. They are making fun of gays, and being gay.

You can watch it, though. I wasn't all that impressed. I'm just pointing out that they make fun of gay people, and yet you only get offended when certain people do it.

It's just political leveraging by exagerating statements from right wing or left wing and twisting it to suit their needs.
Good news is Bro Curtis is that you and I and everbody else will be O.K. if we just stick with the truth and let the pollitical hacks devour themselves.

Actually they are not so much making fun of gay people than they are parodying certain segments of American culture. I have a gay coworker who actually likes the show as well. It certainly isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it gives me more laughs than anything on TV. Still, I would not watch it in the presence of someone who would stumble because of it. As a matter of fact, if my avatar offends you Brother Curtis, I will change it.

Keep it, if you want. Just have a little consistency in your outrage.

So, is it your position that calling Limbaugh a pig is justified, while Coulter is a witch from hell ? I don't wanna assume anything.
