I just found something interesting at the library.
There is a collection of DVDs and CDs called "The
Great Courses" which is a collection of lectures (most
college-level) on many subjects. The one I got is,
"Herodotus: The Father of History" with Prof.
Elizabeth Vandiver from the University of Maryland.
It is quite good. I stayed up late last night and
watchd 3 of the 24 lectures. I have been reading
selections from Herodotus and the lectures have really
helped deepen my appreciation for his histories.

My local libary system alone has 47 titles from this
series from physics to ancient history to literature.
I'm sure you could find just about anything thru a
    worldcat search.

I replied ("thanks!") in the HomeSchooling forum, but again, neato.

(If that sounds sarcastic, it isn't. I truly think this is rather exciting).
