    Burial for me.

Burial is a picture of rest, waiting for resurrection.

Cremation, in my opinion, is a picture of destruction.

I have no quarrel with someone who wants to be cremated. It's just a personal preference with me.

God will gather the atoms of my body from the earth and reassembled them into my physical body, then transform it into the resurrection body at the end of the age no matter what condition they are in.

I'll be dead hopefully, before the burial or cremation, so I won't be choosing anything.:laugh:

They'd be better off to just feed you to the fishes at sea. That way when you hit the water, the fisherman can pick up all those fish which float to the top a few minutes after you hit the water....

Worked as a Funeral Director for 30+ years, so I saw both sides. I USED TO think that families selected cremation because it is less expensive, but; over the years I came to the conclusion that in a lot of cases people just preferred cremation regardless if it was less expensive or not.

As for me...I'm going to be cremated, and so is my Wife.

Which will I choose "upon death"?

    I don't think I will have a choice.

Moab was cursed for burning the bones of the king of Edom into lime.

I am not going to tell my family to cremate me for that reason. Give God a reason to curse my family? I think not!

Maybe if you have them "creamate" you they won't get cursed. Might be a little messy though.

My definition of culture shock: a high school exchange student attending the Japanese cremation ceremony!
