Critical race theory (CRT), intellectualmovement and loosely organized framework of legal analysis based on the premise that race is not a natural, biologically grounded feature of physically distinct subgroups of human beings but a socially constructed (culturally invented) category that is used to oppress and exploit people of colour. Critical race theorists hold that the law and legal institutions in the United States are inherently racist insofar as they function to create and maintain social, economic, and political inequalities between whites and nonwhites, especially African Americans.

In other words if you are white you are racist.

I was told in a race relations class that minorities cannot be racist because they have no power.

I also like to mention in that class - during introductions - most use terms such as Black-American, Italian American, and ect. - but they got upset, when I called myself a "Mutt-American"!

One other thing - those in the class also got upset, when I told them I was a minority - as I was the only while male in the class!

In the Augusta area I, being White, am a minority. Black people are a majority. So, at least locally, only Black people can be racists?

The Britannica definition is a good one, so is the rest of the article.

Your inflammatory misrepresentation of critical race theory is found nowhere in that article.

Besides their embrace of Marxism and their hypocritical insistence that race be the defining characteristic by which to define and judge, this is the major point of contention—their claim that blacks have no power and therefore cannot be racist.

This means that, by their own theory, the moment blacks have power, they too will be systemic racists. It is definitionally unavoidable. It would be hypocritical to claim otherwise, but you can be sure that won’t stop them.

NEWSFLASH: Such blacks already exist, as they do have power. There are places where only blacks or black businesses can be hired for certain jobs, land certain contracts, etc. And then there are all of the nationally held offices, not to mention the election of Obama and the subsequent “color” of his administration.

Not just once, but twice - the max allowed!!
This fact should, SHOULD, dispel any doubts as to "RACISM" in the USA nationally, but common sense such as this doesn't fit the dim's agenda, so it must be ignored and/or minimized.
Then, on the other hand, perhaps the left KNOWS something about the twice election of the empty suit that we aren't aware of; just saying ----!! (Nothing new under the sun: Repeated in '20??)

I prefer my personal "critical race theory": comparing running with a 40 pound pack for 50 yards up the side of a dry sand dune versus 50 meters through knee deep mud.

I don't care. If a group of idiots think I am a racist, more power to them.

The one situation is that when someone keeps telling lies- many will believe him.

I don't particularly care if someone incidentally falsely accuses me of racism. However, I do care if a group falsely uses the race card as an excuse to destroy my family, my church, my community, my state, my nation.

The real racists are the ones making the false accusation and for just such vile ends. May their power be broken irreparably.

I agree. The solution is not caring what that group says.

I don't. I have no need to talk with leftists, idiots, or Democrats. (Honestly, the three areas pretty much overlay.)

    I do have a need:
1- understanding - even I could be wrong about something
2 May make a new friend - (doesnt mean I have to agree)
3 Most important - present the Gospel!

A guy comments how he likes Progressives. After saying it a few different ways, he then concludes, “I also like puppies and babies. But I wouldn’t put them in charge of a city.”

It’s not that these Dem Progressive Left folk think or say these things. It’s that they have far too much power already and want even more, all of it in fact. They need to be stripped of power.
