    One of the four reasons for marriage according to Mr. Lewis, is as the only innocent outlet for our sexuality. This, it would seem, must refer to a marriage between a man and a woman.

    And speaking of those lacking redemption, he indicated (in the Problem of Pain) that their condemnation was not so much a sentence as the unredeemed refusing to let go of their egotism and self will that causes them to want to control and consume other people around them.

    Could this be applied to all those who use compulsion and coercion rather than persuasion? Food for thought.
