While I was appalled in the beginning of the election as the possibility of Kerry winning seemed quite strong and found myself relieved that he didn't, it was an odd relief.
It took me bit to figure out what it was, but I did.
It's curiosity, and a slight bit of disappointment at knowing that I won't find out. Find out what?
We know what Bush did as a President, but what would Kerry do? How would the changes he wanted to make have affected us as people, as a nation? Would he have LASTED four years? He seemed like the type of person who might have an emotional breakdown under the stress of it all after a year or so. Seeing his eagerness to please and his willingness to switch "beliefs" when confronted made me feel as if I wouldn't feel very safe under his leadership, and certainly did not have confidence in his decision.
But what if I was wrong? What if all he needed was a chance to prove himself in office, and would have gone down as the best president in history?
    Ain't ya a bit curious? :D

Well, whatever he would've done, would've been done with difficulty what with a Republican House & Senate.

Which is not necessarily a bad thing.

Not the least bit curious or interested. I am glad he lost.

Not a nickel's worth of difference. Bush, by campaigning vigorously for pro-abortion Senator Arlen Spector, has made it certain that pro-life judicial nominees (if he ever names one) will not be confirmed.

Maybe, just maybe, Kerry would find a way to resolve the quagmire in Iraq.

And maybe he'd get the economy going again, and the defict back to a safe level.

    But we don't know that.
