It's the first time that Paisley and Adams have met face to face isn't it?

Is this the agreement that Reg Empey described as the "Belfast Agreement for slow learners" ?

It means the Peace of Westphalia has been signed in Belfast. So, the Thirty Year War has finally ended in Northern Ireland.

n.b The rest of Europe signed the PoW in 1648. :)

Roger, Britain is a small island off the coast of Europe; AFAIC, it ain't 'in' Europe:smilewinkgrin:

Private Eye this morning has Adams saying "I come in peace" and Paisley retorting "And I'm the Pope!"

Surely The End(TM) is truly nigh now with this agreement? "And it came to pass in those days that the leader of the Union-ites, he which was called I-an, did sit down heavily (for he was a big man) with the Bearded One, he that was the son of Adams, and lo! the Big One and the Bearded One did sup together of the bottle they do call Char-don-nay, and both were united in their despite for the son of Hain, who did verily speak with an highly irritating nasal South African accent and annoy all in the place they call Ul-ster..."
