    What's everybody reading these days...
this is a thread that can be updated when you start a new book, so lets keep this one going.

    I'll start:
A Short History of Byzantium - John Julius Norwich

    Samurai William - Giles Milton

Hart's Hope - Orson Scott Card

Do you know there's already a thread like this. Go here:
    http://www.baptistboard.com/showthread.php?t=7660

They keep the thread going while people post what they are reading.

This is a debate section and it seems this thread should go to the Books and Publications forum.

Nope. why read uninspired writings? The Bible has ALL the answers. If you're smart enough to know how to find them.

Can it tell you how to repair an internal combustion engine? How to program in C++?

I hope the mechanic and pilot who work on and fly the airplanes I ride read something besides the Bible.

Teaching True Love to a Sex-at-13 Generation by the Ludys

It's a VERY good book - talking of not just challenging our kids to not have sex and save themselves for marriage but to have a vision of what they're waiting for.
