Owens is poison. I'm so glad we got rid of him!

If I am not mistaking you are talking about the Charles Mrtin who slammed Jim Mc Mahom to the ground and was evicited from the game by Jerry Markbreit.

That is the Charles Martin he is referring to, a guy that will forever be etched in the minds of Bear fans.

We all know how it works in sports. There are players that we don't care for when they are on opponents' teams but when they come to our team and they help it to make the playoffs or win a championship, then all is forgiven.

Some may consider that to be hypocritical. I prefer to consider it to be believing in the power of redemption. :)

Ken, what will you say a year from now when T.O. starts trashing Parcells, Jones, Bledsoe and everybody else wearing a Cowboys uniform?

I figured as much. I can still see in my mind's eye Jerry Markbreit escorting Charles Martin off of the field and Jerry making sure that Jim was okay.

I remember early on seeing T.O. wearing an "I Love Jesus" key holder around his neck. I was thinking "cool, another outspoken Christian on the team; maybe this will be a good thing." Oh how wrong I was.

I'll cross that bridge if it gets built.

I ordered a Dallas Cowboys neck tie and received it in the mail today. It is a thing of beauty. I plan to be wearing it a whole bunch this fall and winter on the work day following the plethora of victories that I expect the Cowboys to have this season.

    Tim,

I am not sure that 49er fans have much room to talk. The 49ers have been awful lately. I do not see that changing too much this coming year.

No doubt the history of the 49ers is really good. But that history isn't going to get you in the playoffs anytime soon.

I think the Seahawks will win the NFC West and the Cardinals will make it to the plyoffs as a wildcard. The NFC West is on the way to becomming a very strong division.:wavey:

With regards to Bledsoe aging, have the 'Boys ever decided if Drew Henson is worthy of becoming a star NFL quarterback? Didn't they acquire him a few seasons ago with that in mind? If not him, then do ya'll suppose the 'Boys will draft a QB in the first round next year?

Found this on the Sporting News website:

The Cowboys need to figure out whether Tony Romo or
Drew Henson can be a viable backup quarterback. Romo
is athletic and intelligent, but he makes poor decisions under
pressure. Henson must use training camp and exhibition games
to show he can move an NFL offense. He has more to prove
    because he's behind in this competition. . . .
