Oh well then....lets call women to pastor churches

 

Ravi Zacharias organization is a parachurch apologetics ministry. There is no biblical teaching on women leading a parachurch non-profit ministry. If Ravi's daughter is good with numbers and well organized, she could be a very good CEO.

 

It must be nice to be able to walk right in to the family business.

 

I'm sure my wife would really like her and maybe even buy her book... She has other books by many Christian Women Authors... ME!... Not so much!... Brother Glen

Btw... The church I was raised in NEVER!... Had a Woman preacher, goes against scripture!

I think one of the best arguments in favor of female clergy is it can potentially save the church money because you can pay them less. Since these are difficult times, perhaps this was done as a cost-saving move...

 

Women have been on the frontline of the mission field for 2000 years, teaching and preaching the gospel.

 

Ramsden is world-class. They would do well to listen to him as their main leader, after Jesus of course.

I didn't know anything about Ravi's eldest. He has a son who seems on the shy side, and another daughter active in frontline ministry.

Quoting more fully, "The first time I realized you could be female and also be a preacher was when my parents took me to hear Becky Pippert. I was about 6 years old and have not forgotten that."

I'd never heard of Becky Pippert, but she is an evangelist. I haven't found much of her online, but she can be found teaching both women and men, and presumably preaching to a mixed church group.

 

Has anyone ever seen any of his debates video tape anywhere? I meam against an agnostic, atheist etc

I know he does go to Christian places and Military Colleges

Can you give me some examples? For example, what are the names of some prominent women from your church who was known for her teaching and preaching in say the 3rd century? The 6th century? The 9th century? The 12th century?

If this has been the case for 2000 years in your church, I would presume there is a historical record of it, otherwise how could you make such an assertion?

 

Lydia, Phoebe, Pricilla, Mary and Julia...all 1st Century women on the frontline of the gospel. Some were deacons.
Closer to today, Amy Carmichael is one of my favorites. She spent her life in India and easily out did Mother Teresa in working for the Kingdom.

 

Do you have any of Lydia's, Phoebe's, Pricilla's, Mary's or Julia's sermons or any other evidence to suggest they were teachers and preachers of the Gospel? I would presume there is a historical record of it, otherwise how could you make such an assertion?

And FYI, Amy Carmichael lived in the 19th and 20th centuries, not the 3rd, 6th, 9th or 12th. And if she "out did" Mother Teresa, why isn't she recognized as one of the greatest Indians by the people of India?

You know that extant data of ancient sermons is rare.
Are you arguing that women were useless in the Kingdom for the past 2000 years?

 

I can post ancient sermons quite easily, so the argument the they are rare is erroneous.
It is apparent your assertion that "women have been on the frontline of the mission field for 2000 years, teaching and preaching the gospel" was a completely baseless assertion. That's what I suspected, but I just wanted you to acknowledge it.
