Daughter's Pregnancy

    My daughter is about to give birth to our first grandchild. But the baby is now a breach baby and he is too big for her to go through natural childbirth. She will be having a C section on Thursday morning.

    Please pray for her and her husband during this time and that Marc will trust Christ at an early age and live for Him throughout his life.

    Oh, how exciting!! Congratulations!! I've had 4 c-sections and while they are not the ideal, they are quite safe. I pray for an easy delivery and an even easier recovery for your daughter.

    Make sure she doesn't push getting back into things but make sure she does walk a lot in the hospital. It will make things MUCH better for her. Tell her to use lots of pillows to position the baby and to drink a LOT of fluids tomorrow. The more hydrated she goes into this the better she'll feel. Trust me on this one. Also make sure she drinks a lot of fluids in the hospital. Oh man, I could go on with birth/c-section advice!! Sorry!! But I'll be praying for all of you. :)

    Did I mention getting well hydrated today?? ;) Make sure you tell her that!! Lots of fluids today and a high protein meal tonight. Something good and strength giving. :)

    Thanks for the helpful advice about hydration and walking. I will pass that along... but I am really here to begin the spoiling process. It is one for which I am well suited! :thumbs:

    Marc was born this afternoon. He was 8 lbs 15 oz 20 inches long and he is already the smartest kid in the hospital and the best looking... but I'm not partial. His grandmother agrees.:laugh:

    Thank you for your prayers! I really appreciate it.
