Should Saddam receive the death penalty for his crimes?

He should have already received it.

I predict, now that he is in the court system, that he will die of old age before everybody can agree on what to do with him!

I agree with Wally. I think he can even cause a polarization among the Iraqis, if you ask me.

This is an appallingly difficult poll Jude. He seems to be a most wicked man but I still say he should not be executed. I know the majority is not on my side, but God created all mankind and I believe that there is a spark of his love even in this man. I would not want to be the one to destroy this God made creature and put in danger my own soul, but I do not not have the answer!

He should recieve the penalty under the law's he set up for his own government. While Saddam is a very evil man, his sons were worse. I wish I could agree with you Briony and be undecided, I do not like to judge, but he did so much, it's time to let the Lord deal with him.

If he is found guilty by an Iraqi court of law it is up to them to decide his fate, not a bunch of Americans.

I really have no right to express an opinion for their legal system.

Even God calls for the death penalty in the Bible. Which is acknowledgment that there are somethings worth being put to death for. The two thieves on the cross were put to death and the Bible no where condems that.
A Christians soul can never be in danger Jesus is able to keep us secure.

Yes, either coat the rope in pig blood or the bullets and then bury him in the entrails. Let him see you dip the bullets and show him his grave. That will take the jihad and 12 virgins right of of his hope.

I think that he should be tried in the world court in the Hauge rather than in Iraq, yet I think that would result in a life imprisionment rather than a death penalty verdict.

Um, shouldn't he be tried first before we decide on his sentence?

Sure, I think we should find twelve of his peers, have a fair trial, and then hang all thirteen of 'em.

(Just kidding, I know what you mean)

How do you kill a work farm by hanging?
