Boy I've tried to answer this, and I can't.

Can we hold people responsibe for moral crimes allowed under civil law? I guess not, so we must enact laws protecting the unborn from those who's consciences permit them to kill babies.

Strangely Jim, I don't put as much guilt on the woman or sperm doner as I do on the Dr. But all are under the marvelous umbrella of forgiveness by the Blood of the Lamb, should they want it.

A willingness to sin is the most terrible thing that I have ever read, heard, or seen.

God's coming wrath is the single most terrifying thing I have read.

Not if you are reading this.

    :BangHead:

I would rather serve under the Spanish Inquisitors than to live under the coming Wrath of God.

    Yes, I do fear God . . . even if I am a worm of a sinner.

And taking that word out of Amazing Grace was the beginning of this evil age.

I feel really god is the only one that should have the right to take a life. I know we have to judge people sometimes, but i feel when it comes to a child being molested the person should never be able to do this to another person. So i would agree to Gasterating them so they could never hurt another like this.

Also i believe if the United States would go to the laws they have in the Middle Eastern Countires it would sholve alot of our crime rates around here.

Taking a word out of a hymn brought on an evil age? Interesting.

The medical and psychological fact is that castration has no more to do with molestation than does sex. It is an act of physical and mental power over another being. The molester could and would molest without an active genitalia.

The most heinous act in history is the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus, and He forgave us each one. IN fact, His very death gave us eternal life by grace through faith in that death,,,,,,,and subsequent resurrection.

Just as the death penalty has not stopped capital crime in America, so capital punishment will not stop molestation crimes in America. Only the gospel can do that.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Yes, I read that some time ago, about the molestation. And I couldn't agree more about the heinous act against our Lord, the ONLY innocent One.

That has been quoted many times. But how do you reconcile that with lower demonstrated rates of molestation when chemical castration has taken place?

Furthermore, I can't believe that physical castration would not be a powerful deterrent to molesters.

I agree. And I didn't come down as hard for capital punishment as some. However, we do know that if someone is never let out of prison, they won't molest any children again.

As far as the Gospel being the ultimate cure, you have a hearty "Amen" from my corner.
