Dem platform on climate deniers

    One of those principles in this year’s Democratic platform is support for Department of Justice investigations into public companies that have been accused of committing corporate fraud — specifically by lying to their shareholders about the state of climate science in order to turn a better profit.

    This is the exact language in the platform:

    All corporations owe it to their shareholders to fully analyze and disclose the risks they face, including climate risk. Those who fail to do so should be held accountable. Democrats also respectfully request the Department of Justice to investigate allegations of corporate fraud on the part of fossil fuel companies accused of misleading shareholders and the public on the scientific reality of climate change.

    Comment: The Dems are parsing words by saying that they do not want to file felony charges against individuals who disagree with climate change/global warming but that they do want to file charges against corporations such as Exxon who disagree with government scientists.

    In this search for money, after the Dems liquidate the corporations, they have to go after individuals to get more money.

    Now, have the Department of Truth banish all documents that state otherwise down the memory hole.

    Democrats want to make it illegal for a company to deny man-made global warming. The precedent for this suppression of speech is the ban on tobacco companies denying smoking is dangerous.
