    Of course, they did.

For years, their only goal was to defeat or obstruct every Bush proposal, no matter how good it was for the country.

Everyone knows this. Libbies all know this. Their lack of intellectual integrity on this issue is astounding. And they are hoping that most people will not remember while they play on their economic fears.

Saying that we disapprove of the job done by a failing president is NOT saying that we hope the president will fail during an economic crisis. The latter statement is unAmerican. Let me make that a bit stronger. It's treason.

Hoping someone doesn't kill the country is no UnAmerican. You were part of the people who got upset when the patriotism of Bush's opponents were questioned, and now you are doing the same thing.

I hope Obama's policies fail. If they do, it will help the country, and that is my bigger interest. If Obama and the Dems did nothing, the economy would recover faster with less debt.

What they should do is immediately balance the budget, changing whatever laws it takes to do so. None of this "balance the budget" in 4 years.

Nice try, but the question add no such caveat. The dems mostly declared Bush a failure long before this, but now we have proof of the double standard.

If one is treason, then the other is, as well.

You need to work on your reading comprehension skills.

"Regardless of how you voted in the presidential election, would you say you want President Bush to succeed or not?"

This question asked nothing about "disapproving of the job done" by President Bush.

Bush is taking a new approach, leadership. If we still has Bush as the president America would be doomed to go on the scrap heap of history.

Well there are several democrats in Congress who should be removed and tried for treason because they wanted President Bush to fail during a war. Of course the radical leftists are all guilty of treason because they have wanted America to fail ever since WWII.

O'Reilly reported tonight that poles showed 51% of all democrats wanted President Bush to fail. From his rhetoric on this forum I suspect JC is one of those.

    Good case in point--------Charles Lindburgh

A "puppet on a string" playing the American Strong Man for NAZI Germany----Hitler and Luftwaff Commander Herman Goering "petted" him and pampered him and changed his diapers a time or two and the two timed "Benedict Arnold" came over here and tried to tell FDR that the Germans were the "good guys!!!!"------He had the "gall" to tell the President of the United States that the Americans could never win a war against Germany!!!

When war finally broke out------Lindburgh wanted the US Army Air Corps to pin some wings on his sissy chest

FDR responded-------"He will not fly in my Army!!!!"----and by golly---the coward didn't fly---FDR clipped his boney wings just short of the runway!!!!!

yes, that was certainly new in 2008. Obama has reversed the course on that. He is showing little to no leadership. Virtually everything he has done has been the wrong thing.

That's borderline irrational. It is at least untrue. Since Obama has taken office, the markets have continued to decline, job losses are still going up, the economy is not getting better, and the world around him is not getting better (Iraq, Russia, North Korea). The only smart thing he has done in that regard is break his promise to pull out of Iraq. He has shown an amount of judgment that he is not known for in that regard.

And Obama has managed to insult our longest and closest ally, the British.

Oh, not to mention the renewed war on the unborn.

Well, Bush gave us a depression and a meaningless war. Do you think that was great?
