    I could see this coming with Desert Storm. I was in an Army National Guard Transportation Battalion. My company stayed behind has the holding company for the non-deployables. So, the battalion ended up sending its HQ and two "line" companies.

    I would agree if you are non-deployable for 12 months - then it is time to go.

    About time.

    I don’t know what has happened to Americans, but we are apparently a sickly and tender lot, nowadays. Nondeployables everywhere. And usually it's the young ones who've never even been to war.

    No, no. If one is in the process of "gender transformation", they need to stay home so they can become normal - then they can deploy. Understand?
