    Unfortunately deportation goes against religious freedom. Gotta take the good with the bad in a free society.

    It wasn't his fault that our gov't allowed this blaspheme. He is just saying what he always has.

    Hm, I thought he'd already been deported for immigration fraud, for the mass marriage thing.

    No, they shouldn't be censured but they be held up to public ridicule.


    Oh, how I was tempted to plant my tongue firmly in cheek, with the other two, and say Moon is the Messiah!

    This is the way of the world , we are not of this world. Actually this should make us more aware that we should look for more opurtunities to witness to others . The devil will use this to distract us from doing what is really important.

    Very interesting poll results; thought I would be in the minority voting not to deport him. Rocko9 makes some good points. I think someone said, "Keep your enemy close so you can deal with him."

    The local psychriatric hospice should be able to accept him, should fit in with alot of folk with messianic fantasies.

    Has your taxation department scrutinised his affairs with a nit comb?

    Just scattershooting ..If this could happen
    in the Dirksen building...could it happen at
    other places around the globe.

    I really thought that nothing like this could
    happen in the judeo-christian United States and
    not be reported extensively or roundly condemned.
    Like others have said ..Moon is very,very, rich
    and spreads that money around. And he has a core
    population of sycophant followers.

    I think it would be possible to deport him
    but it would take a taxpayer revolt and emergency
    surgical act of congress. Probability is low because he has already pulled it off with the
    blessing of congressman and the crowning of him
    being the messiah was not even picked up by
    major media outlets.

    So he stays and flys underneath the radar running
    a secretive operation to bend others to his self proclaimed messiah view spreading his billions in money to those who have a open palm.

    I am stunned that 3 people do not think this is blasphemy and that 2 people think Moon is the Messiah! :eek:

    Moon has been claiming to be the true Messiah for a long time. He says that Jesus failed in his mission by getting crucified and not starting a "true" family. So Moon did that and we can get saved by being adopted into his family (being married by him or having a marriage blessed by him).

    The two who said Moon is the Messiah, why don't you identify yourselves? If you are willing to say that, why don't you say who you are?

    Christian ministers go to Moon's events to have their marriages blessed by Moon. I have done outreaches here in the DC area at Moon events 3 or 4 times and have seen it with my own eyes. It's always a discouraging thing to see Christian church buses pull up with people and pastors attending. [​IMG] Then Christian recording artists sing for him.

    And most evangelicals here buy Moon's paper The Washington Times, thus giving Moon even more money.

    I guess now you want to know how I really feel.

    Marcia just curious when Moon was crowned
    messiah at the Dirksen building in D.C. was
    it well covered or well covered up.

    I take Sung Yung Moon seriously as a threat and
    a polluter of Jesus Christ, and the reason I say
    that is because he is a known billionaire and
    sad to say this ..people can be bought...ministrys
    can be founded...papers can be bankrolled...sycophants can get in key posistions.

    Paranoid...no...but really concerned.

    I think the two who voted him messiah I think
    was a prank..my experience on Baptist board is
    that they are absolutely consistent on Jesus Christ as the Messiah.

    Are there undercover Moonies on the baptist board
    well that would be a hoot to debate;)

    If there are under cover moonies then I hope this
    board will lead them to the real Messiah
    the Deliverer...Jesus Christ...let the moon set
    and the Son rise!

    It was covered and shushed up, or at least they tried. The news did not leak out until much later, mainly through a blog. Then there was an investigation as to how it happened, but I can't recall all the details. The main senator/representative who gave permission said that he did not know how the room was going to be used. However, if Moon is involved, people should know something like this might happen.

    The conservatives (including some top Christians) in this town are somewhat beholden to Moon because he prints their agenda in his paper, The Washington Times.. They also get paid top dollar to speak at events sponsored by Moonie fronts (there are quite a few of them and many of them have the word "family" in them). They will defend him. It's unbelievable, almost, unless you are as cynical as I am about politics and the Republican party and Washington, DC. I have no illusions, believe me. Everyone here is corrupt.

    No need to wonder how an antichrist is going to deceive people when we see Christians defend and support and take money from an evil cult leader like Moon who claims to be the Messiah.

    Thanks Marcia it is always good to get a perspective from someone who is actually close
    to the situation.

    We need powerful sunshine laws to keep people
    like this from flying underneath the radar.

    I cannot believe he actually got away with this
    crowned messiah(anti-messiah) in the Dirksen
    building and then the congressman both democrat
    and republican feign ignorance.

    I will expose this stooge every chance I get, and
    expose those who take his money and shill for
    his anti-christ beliefs.

    I wonder if he could pull a stunt like this
    in Jerusalem? If they can have a rainbow gay
    convention ,I guess it is possible.

    We ALL know he became rich from flowers and it wasn't HIM that was out on the street corners selling them!

    It's too bad Christians didn't offer these deluded people more than Moon did.

    We have the REAL Messiah, yet how many of us have ever witnessed to Moon's followers.

    Moon being crowned the Messiah would be laughable if it didn't have so many sinister possiblilities...
