Kelly Shackelford, of the Republician platform states that the Constitution does not give any authority for local education! He stated that Regan wanted to delete the Dept of Ed, and that the Republician Party should seek that end

Wow, what a concept - go by the Constitution.

Kathy Adams of Tx said that education is a local issue.

    Total agreement with this idea!

The DOE is one of the most successful and demonic plans to subjugate a free people that has ever been conceived. satan should be proud of his minions that birthed this evil!!!!

It's far and away more efficient at conquering this nation than ANY plan hatched by some military takeover. Resistance is virtually nil, and the sheeple practically beg to be slaughtered, if they can watch "Monday Night Football" and the fridge is full of Bud.

Why in the world we ever got into the habit of sending money from the states to DC only to be raped and sent back with rules attached to it. How about we just leave it at the state level and send congress home more.

Because corrupt liberal school officials get oversight by representatives elected by the people.

That bill should be left behind.

States or Commonwealths should set the standards for their jurisdictions Local and or County school boards should administer education.

If the Feds wanted to make national recommendations, and maintain stats; that would be ok, but local schools should be under no obligation to follow the feds.
