You have posted that link before, as I posted links showing he was/is. He started off supporting civil unions, then moved to gay marriage during the campaign with Kennedy, which he lost. He is now back to civil unions. If it was one isolated incident, it might be one thing. He was governor of Massachusetts to establish a pattern. It is not only the gay rights issue. It is abortion, gun control and health care.

I fail to see where you think Romney is going to win. There are not many places more conservative than where I live, including the church I go to and where I work. I have not heard one person say they are going to vote for Romney, and the subject comes up quite often..

Romney raised taxes and increased the deficit, and, expanded the size of government.

Now, I go back to my original statement, the election results will make no difference. If you want to vote for Romney that is your business. Why don't you stop using the conservative banner? I am beginning to wonder if conservative and Constitution mean the same thing in Minnesota and Michigan as they do the South.

SN, I just posted the link to the Huff Post today because it just happened.....

Anyway, I am hopeful Romney will win, but like I have stated before, maybe I am just being naive, the votes will be counted in Spain and the fix is probably already in, either that, or the zero will declare martial law and postpone the election.....and don't say it can't happen, the executive orders for complete control over everything have already been signed by obama....recently...in the last couple of months....in anticipation?

Dont you think it is kind of late to worry about the results of the election? Dont you think the correct thing to have done was to hold the Republicans feet to the fire when they started this liberal nonsense in 1988? That was over twenty years ago. What did the Republicans learn from the elections since? What did the Republicans learn about the 2008 election. Obviously nothing.

Translation: The 78% veto-proof Democratic controlled Legislature in Mass. raised taxes.

The point is he changes any position to meet any circumstance to further his own poltical future.

He was well aware of the Mass legislature before he ran for governor. When he ran against Kennedy, which he lost, he became much more liberal than he already was. Now, running for President, he has tried to shift all his moral policies.

Since you do not agree, and seem to set aside his Massachussetts record, what do you think he would do as President? If you think he will cut taxes, balance the budget or lessen the deficit, or set this nation on a course of prosperity, what do you base that on? Do you entirely base it on his statements since leaving office since he has no conservative record to back up his words.

What do you think will be different four years from now if Romney is elected? Do you think abortion will be slowed down? Do you think the gay rights agenda will be stopped? Do you think the economy will grow? Unemployment go down?

Contrary to excessive overstatements made there is a huge difference between Obama and Romney and the election will make a world of difference. Romney may be bigger spender than we would like but that does not put him on par with Obama. Romney may not be a Christian but that does not put him on par with Obama. Romney may not be as socially conservative as we would like but again that does not make him Obama.

Romney may not be ideal but he is far from the mess that is called Obama.

Lots of opinions and no facts. There are no excessive overstatements made. If one takes up for the Constitution and being conservative, instead of being a Republican regardless of what they stand for, you would see the gap between Romney and the Constitution is much greater than the gap between Romney and Obama, which does not exist.

In May 2004, the list cits a woman's right to choose. An exact position of Romney.
What does abortions going down under President Bush have to do with Romney being pro abortion?
Many of the posts relate to abortion. Romney is pro abortion.

The only excessive overstatements is the list you provided. If need be, you can write a novel to justify your vote for Romney.

Yes he is. Read his record in Massachusetts, not his lying words.

Prove that it is not. Look at his whole pattern over the decades. He flip flops on numerous issues at sync with the need to present a new Romney to the voting public. The four most obvious issues are abortion, gay rights, gun control and government run health care. After you disprove what I said, we can start into the issues of tax, spending, and expansion of government.

Obvioiusly you didn't. If you want to vote for Romney, do so. Just don't use the conservative banner to do it. It is a disgrace.

You don't know what conservative is. Your over reaction and over statements make you come across and hostile and very bitter.
