What part of "I follow the lead of the Holy Spirit" do you not understand?

Hello Wes.

So the conversation goes, "Excuse me spectral thingy but do you come from God or Satan?

"I'm from God believe me." Or "I'm from Satan don't believe me."

Is that how it goes?

you talk to them though don't you? we have had this conversation before. 1 John 4:1-3 testifies to the fact that you think we should do that which is forbidden.

How do you thing that spirit communicates with you? You are influenced by spirit are you not?

If you do not demand of spirits that they reveal themselves how do you know that such exists? How do you know that the Holy Spirit exists?

That which is forbidden is the conjuring up of the dead, those whose spirits have been set free from the flesh.

Unless you challenge or test a spirit, how do you know who that spirit is from? As a mere mortal you don't because you cannot see spirit. You can only receive influence from spirit. Be sure you know which spirit you allow to influence you, because even Satan, the "angel of light" can present himself as god, after all he attempted to usurp the throne of God.

An apostle of God, the beloved John tells us to test the spirits! It is in the bible! You do believe the bible don't you?

Hello Wes.
And how do you know after the challenge?
I might have a nip now and then so what? I can always walk home.
Amazing stuff you write man! You're way in front of me!
So you have demanded the Holy Spirit to reveal Himself to you? You know He exists how else? I know the Holy Spirit is real because the bible says He is, who told you?
What do you need to listen to the spirits for, doctrine? Since only speaking to the dead is forbidden then how do you make contact with the spirit realm? Ouija board or chicken entrails? It's a serious question. You say if a spirit says to you a thing you challenge them to tell you who sent them? How, is it verbal or in your head?
This is very strange thing. You say, If you do not demand of spirits that they reveal themselves how do you know that such exists? Which in itself is a pretty odd sentence but first you make sure they exist then you challenge them? I'd leave it alone and rather not meet then in the first place.
What you mean a 'mere' mortal? I am a Child of God. I have immortality in waiting just after I die. HaHa!
Would you like to expand on this? If the 's' needs to be 'S' then please specify.
He failed and now the throne of God is within me! The angel of light sheds very dark light.
I can testify to keeping this command and I tested them all, (I think), and I'll stick to whiskey cause that's what cowboys drink.
Yes but my understanding of the beloved's verse might be faulty but it was fun to be wrong for a change!

Jesus Christ, throuth His death on the cross, saved all those whom God the Father had chosen to salvation in Jesus Christ before the foundations of the world. </font>
Okay. So now, here's my question.
If the cross, and only the cross, HERE IN TIME, and the blood Christ shed on that cross, two thousand or so years ago, were the PINNACLE, the very fulfillment of God's salvation of His elect, then, on what basis, may I ask of all, has God taken Enoch to heaven and on what basis did God take Elijah up to heaven ?

This is a serious question.

And this question has been on my mind since I read that post about the elect being born saved, to which I replied no, but, looking back I may have replied too hastily.

</font>
Faith is faith, whether we look back 2000 years and have faith in what Christ did, or whether those who lived 2000 years before Christ had faith in God and what Christ would do for them. Enoch falls into this boat, along with everyone who lived before Christ's death. Man is saved by Faith alone, regardless if they lived past, present or future.

If by grace, then there is no reason for hearing or believing!

Can't win the argument or support your own position, so you stoop to ridicule! Great tactic johnp!

Hello Wes.
I post some scripture: Ephesians 2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved... and you reply: If by grace... There's no 'if' Wes, then you say: ...then there is no reason for hearing or believing! After God has decreed the way He works His work you say there is no need to and for that you say I stoop to ridicule! You have a nerve.
For it is by grace you have been saved... Is argument won. Great tactic my foot.

There is a stratergy and that is attrition. Long suffering.

john.
