notice what I have placed in bold for you. Is this not one and the same as what I have said, and others on this board. Man is enabled to respond once the truth of the Gospel is made meaningful to him, this is regeneration.

as to the drawing being to all humans, history continues to practically deny this.

You said, 'Man is enabled to respond once the truth of the Gospel is made meaningful to him, this is regeneration.'

We believe the Bible indicates that conviction and convincing of one's need of Christ comes before a human response of faith and after this God regenerates the sinner. [John 16:8] Jesus said that He would reprove {not the church/the saints but} the world of sin and of righteousness and {coming} judgment.' If "Unconditional Election" were true this would fully detract from what Jesus said about our human responsibility toward His Divine Being. This is documented in John 3:18.

You said,' . . . as to the drawing being to all humans, history continues to practically deny this.'

Actually, what you are seeing, Brother Dallas, is a human/sinful response in turning aside the claims and promptings of the Holy Spirit toward the things of Christ. We know this because Jesus again said that the majority of humanity would 'enter in at the wide gate . . . . that leads to the destruction of Hell.' {my version} [Matthew 7:13] He cannot be blamed for sinners rejection of His glorious plan of salvation.
